Are Chelsea Houska And Adam Lind Both Quitting ‘Teen Mom 2’?

Could Chelsea Houska be done with Teen Mom 2? Although Teen Mom 2 Season 8 has yet to be confirmed by MTV, rumors are swirling in regard to a new installment, but unfortunately for fans, there may be a couple of stories missing.

During a recent episode of Teen Mom 2 Season 7, Chelsea Houska opened up about her role on the long-running reality series and hinted that Season 7 could be her last.

“It’s been a great experience but its been going on for so long,” Chelsea Houska explained during last week’s Teen Mom 2 Season 7 reunion special, according to a report by Real Mr. Housewife on June 21. “I’m at a different point in my life now and I’m just wanting a little more privacy.”

Although Chelsea Houska may be growing out of her reality television role, she noted that there were plenty of positive aspects of her years-long reality career.

“It really helped me get out of a really low point… so yeah, there’s some awesome things about it,” she said. “I’m just becoming more private like I said. I’m just at a different part of my life, I think.”

During filming on Teen Mom 2 Season 7, Chelsea Houska and Cole DeBoer became engaged, and later this year, they will tie the knot. However, regardless of whether or not Chelsea Houska rejoins her co-stars for the eighth season of Teen Mom 2, her wedding will not be seen. While chatting with Wetpaint Entertainment in March, Chelsea Houska confirmed she would not be sharing her nuptials with fans.

“Our wedding is just something so personal and we’re having a small intimate wedding and it just didn’t feel right just for us to have it aired to millions of people,” Chelsea Houska explained. “Even though I appreciate the support and I’m so grateful for everyone who is so happy for us, people will be able to see the planning and pictures and stuff like that so I’m not leaving them with nothing.”

As Chelsea Houska prepares to tie the knot with DeBoer, her ex-boyfriend, Lind, is also said to be leaving the show after Season 7. However, his exit has been confirmed, while Houska’s exit has only been hinted at.

“I don’t have to explain myself to you guys anymore. So, I’m not going to participate in this anymore. I’m f***ing done with it. I’m here because I’m under contract and I have to be here,” Lind told Dr. Drew Pinsky during the reunion episode last week, via Starcasm. “I’m not gonna give you guys what you want anymore. I’m done with it. I’m just done with the show, I don’t want to participate in the show anymore. I even texted MTV that I didn’t want to come to f**ing L.A. and I was told you better get a lawyer to get out of your contract. So, here I sit. I’m obligated to be here.”

Although Chelsea Houska’s ex-boyfriend claimed there was no exact turning point in his reality television career, he said that the money was no longer worth the drama.

Months ago, Lind spoke of his possible exit from the show on Instagram, telling fans that he had been offered more money to appear on the show but confirming he was not interested.
