JoJo Fletcher Castoffs Join ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ – And So Does A ‘Bachelorette’ Villain

JoJo Fletcher won’t have to look far to find out what her exes are up to this summer. Three more cast members from Fletcher’s season of The Bachelorette have been confirmed for the summertime spin-off series Bachelor in Paradise, according to People.

In addition to the already announced bad boy Chad Johnson, three of JoJo’s most recently ousted former suitors — Grant Kemp, Evan Bass and Vinny Ventiera — will also head to Paradise. All three men were sent home on this week’s episode of The Bachelorette, with Ventiera becoming downright emotional over getting the boot.

JoJo Fletcher’s “villain” Chad Johnson won’t be the only polarizing figure on the new season of Paradise. Nick Viall, the franchise foe who was both Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe’s runner-up on their seasons of The Bachelorette, will also head to the tropical summertime reality show for a third try at love. JoJo Fletcher previously denied that she has dated Viall, although she admitted she has met him.

Fletcher’s season of The Bachelorette has proven to be one of the most volatile editions of the ABC dating show yet, and now with arch enemies Chad Johnson and Evan Bass reuniting in Mexico for Paradise, it definitely won’t be a relaxing summer vacation for anyone who has signed on to the show.

Of course, based on the way things are going for JoJo Fletcher, maybe she should sign on to Paradise, too. This week, JoJo confronted her frontrunner, Jordan Rodgers, on his alleged womanizing past, and while she seemed satisfied by his answer that he was just an immature guy at the time, the seeds of doubt have been planted.

JoJo was also put through the wringer this week when some of the guys on her cast questioned if she had signed on to The Bachelorette for the “right reasons.” JoJo’s ex-boyfriend Chad Rookstool’s tabloid story somehow landed in the hands of her suitors while they were traveling to Uruguay. In the article, JoJo’s ex stated that she was never in love with her Bachelor beau Ben Higgins and that she only signed on as The Bachelorette for publicity reasons. When JoJo was confronted by producers with the tabloid story, she went into ugly cry mode, saying she “hates” her ex and slamming him for trying to bring her down.

In the story, published by In Touch Weekly, Rookstool claimed that JoJo Fletcher reunited with him after she was dumped by Ben Higgins on The Bachelor.

“As soon as she got home, we started hanging out every day and being intimate again,” Chad told the tabloid. “We were sneaking around the whole time The Bachelor was airing because she wasn’t allowed to be seen with me.”

Rookstool also claimed that he and JoJo talked about marriage in between JoJo’s reality show stints, but then she dropped the bombshell that she was cast as the lead on The Bachelorette. While Rookstool says Fletcher asked him to wait for her to finish her reality show reign, he told her he has had enough.

“JoJo thought the show would help branch out her career. She said it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity … JoJo is the type of person who likes leaving the door open. It’s so hard for me to picture her as The Bachelorette and finding someone else, because she’s a big part of my life and my best friend, but I’m not going to wait for her.”

Rookstool also claimed JoJo Fletcher landed her original spot on The Bachelor because her brother Ben Patton is friends with one of the show’s producers. Patton appeared on the short-lived NBC dating show Ready for Love.

While there’s clearly no love lost with Chad Rookstool, you can see some of JoJo Fletcher’s other former suitors when Bachelor in Paradise premieres August 2 on ABC.
