‘Basketball Wives LA’ Star Malaysia Pargo Wins Big Payout In Divorce Settlement

Malaysia Pargo just hit a huge payday after finally finalizing her divorce with former NBA baller Jannero Pargo. The Basketball Wives LA star has been working to end her marriage for more than two years now. It looks like patience paid off literally according to a Bossip report because Malaysia will be bringing home some pretty huge paychecks after wrapping up all the loose ends on her divorce settlement.

Even though Jannero Pargo doesn’t even play in the NBA anymore, it looks like Malaysia will be doing pretty well for herself post-divorce. It’s possible that she will end up better off financially than her former husband.

According to the report. Malaysia Pargo was awarded half of Jannero’s NBA pension and his 401k plan. It is unknown just how much cash she’ll get, but she definitely won’t be broke. In addition, the Basketball Wives LA star gets to keep her 2015 Mercedes Benz G550 and she gets to keep their 3 Beats LLC, a jewelry company started by Malaysia.

Jannero was ordered to pay Malaysia Pargo $14,580 per month in child support plus another $800 a month for their childcare in addition to receiving half of his retirement money from the NBA. The divorce settlement was approved by a judge by default on April 12.

As for what Jannero Pargo gets to keep, he also will have half of his NBA pension and 401k. Jannero also gets to keep his half of the matching Mercedes set, another 2015 Mercedes-Benz G550. The proceeds from the sale of a home the former couple kept in New Orleans will also stay with him. Not to mention that Malaysia agreed to return a black diamond watch and black diamond chain to Jannero.

Malaysia and Jannero separated back in 2014. Anything that either of them has earned in the time since their split, they get to keep as well as any other items they have acquired in that time.

Malaysia Pargo was married to Jannero for 10 years and the former couple has three children together. According to the divorce settlement, they will share custody and co-parent together.

Just last year, Basketball Wives LA fans wondered if the former couple had reconciled according to Fashion & Style. In the two years since their separation, it looks like Malaysia and Jannero have been able to find common ground when parenting their children. According to Malaysia, she and Jannero have become better friends since their split. Even though she felt “like a quitter” for deciding to end their marriage, it looks like she made a good choice for herself.

“Will I be going on a movie date with him anytime soon? No, probably not. Or going out on vacation? We probably won’t do that,” Malaysia said. “But we are in a place where we can speak and have conversations and at least get a couple of laughs out.”

In 2015, Malaysia told The Jasmine Brand,“I think we are now adjusting to it, and we’re not best friends, but we’re definitely friends now. It’s been a while now, so we’re able to at least have conversations with each other to benefit our children or benefit whatever it is we need to get together.”
