Adam Lind Quits ‘Teen Mom 2’ And Chelsea Houska Couldn’t Care Less

Adam Lind doesn’t want to be featured on Teen Mom 2 any longer, and his former girlfriend, Chelsea Houska, the mother of his 6-year-old daughter, Aubree, couldn’t care less.

During a sneak peek of the upcoming reunion special, Adam Lind is seen sitting down with Houska and the show host to discuss several issues of Season 7, including his absence during the father-daughter dance and his battle with Houska over child support. However, rather than address the hot topics of the season, Adam Lind chooses to sit in silence, announcing he will not be answering any questions about the show as he has ended his run with the MTV series.

While Adam Lind told fans earlier this year that his daughter with Chelsea Houska would also not be returning to the show, Houska seemed unconcerned with his exit.

“I don’t care,” Houska said, shrugging her shoulders at the thought.

“I don’t have to explain myself to you guys anymore. So, I’m not going to participate in this anymore. I’m f***ing done with it,” Adam Lind explained to the reunion host, Dr. Drew Pinsky, via report by Starcasm on June 14. “I’m here because I’m under contract and I have to be here. I’m not gonna give you guys what you want anymore. I’m done with it.”

“I’m just done with the show, I don’t want to participate in the show anymore,” Adam Lind continued as Dr. Drew Pinsky attempted to gather more information. “I even texted MTV that I didn’t want to come to f**ing L.A. and I was told you better get a lawyer to get out of your contract. So, here I sit. I’m obligated to be here. I’m not obligated to answer any of your questions, so I don’t have to.”

Adam Lind also told the doctor that the money he makes for appearing on the MTV reality show isn’t worth it anymore.

Adam Lind first announced he was quitting Teen Mom 2 on Instagram in March. At the time, Adam Lind revealed he would rather focus on his career in bodybuilding than his career in reality television.

“I’m sick of being known as the guy from Teen Mom,” Adam Lind wrote on Instagram, according to a report by the Ashley’s Reality Roundup. “But instead I’m going to be known for bodybuilding and fitness…I will not be filming…I fly out to NYC for Season 7 Reunion Show with their ‘stars’ and after that I’m done.”

Adam Lind went on to reveal that the network has already offered him more money to participate in future seasons of Teen Mom 2, which have not yet officially been confirmed, but said that he isn’t interested in the money.

“I’m so much better than being bribed by money. I wasn’t raised to be greedy and sucked into this evil world,” he explained to fans.

As Adam Lind leaves the show, Houska and her fiance, Cole DeBoer, are expected to continue filming with MTV, and when production begins, if it hasn’t already, they will be sharing their wedding preparations with fans.

Houska and DeBoer began dating in 2014 and became engaged in November 2015. However, just as their engagement wasn’t seen on camera, the couple plans to keep their wedding off of the show as well.
