Is Kailyn Lowry Dating Another Woman? ‘Teen Mom 2’ Friend Confirms Relationship Status

Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry has been linked to longtime friend Becky Hayter for weeks, but are the women really dating?

According to a new report, a friend of Kailyn Lowry has spoken out and confirmed that Lowry isn’t dating anyone as she prepares to end her three-year marriage to Javi Marroquin, the father of her youngest son, two-year-old Lincoln Marshall.

“[Kailyn Lowry] is NOT dating anyone,” the friend assured Real Mr. Housewife on June 14. “Dating definitely is not her priority right now.”

Kailyn Lowry first raised questions about a potential lesbian relationship weeks ago when the reality star and mother of two attended a pride festival in New Jersey with Hayter and proceeded to pose for a number of cozy photos with her longtime friend, including a photo of them kissing.

Although Kailyn Lowry never confirmed or denied the romance, she shared an odd tweet around the time the rumors began, in which she asked fans why she has to identify as straight or gay. A short time later, Hayter responded to a fan who claimed she and Lowry weren’t dating, writing, “Who said we weren’t?”

Hayter also shared a link to an article about her alleged romance with Kailyn Lowry on her Twitter page.

During the upcoming second half of the two-part Teen Mom 2 Season 7 reunion special, Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin will address their divorce, and while chatting with host Dr. Drew Pinsky, Marroquin admits that Kailyn Lowry’s 2015 miscarriage put a major strain on their relationship.

“In my mind, I knew it wasn’t my fault, it wasn’t her fault, it wasn’t anybody’s fault,” he explained, according to a report by Radar Online on June 14. “I was just hurt and I took it out on her and that was my mistake. I’m sorry and I just want to apologize to her.”

Kailyn Lowry accepted Marroquin’s apology, but as fans saw on the Teen Mom 2 Season 7 finale episode, her outlook on having more kids changed after her miscarriage, and that was one of the reasons Marroquin decided they had no future. However, after Dr. Drew Pinsky asked Marroquin if he wanted to part ways with Kailyn Lowry for good, he said he did not.

“I’m going to get my own place and she’s going to stay at the house,” he said. “She knows I want my family together more than anything in this world. She felt I wasn’t supportive of her.”

While Marroquin claimed during the reunion that he wanted to keep his family, including son Lincoln and step-son Isaac, together, he didn’t seem so sure just weeks ago on the MTV reality show.

“I guess there is no future,” Marroquin told Kailyn Lowry during the finale episode of Teen Mom 2 Season 7, via an Us Weekly report.

“I’m always gonna resent you, I’m always be mad at you deep down… Once we decide to get a divorce here, or when we decide to get a divorce when I get home, my dad can move my s–t, and when I get home I don’t have to go to that house.”
