‘The Originals’ Season 4: Where Is Hayley Taking The Mikaelsons? Will Marcel Hunt For Hayley? [Spoilers]

The Originals was renewed for Season 4. How will there be another season with what happened in the season finale? There are some theories on the Mikaelsons and Hayley, who is trying to save Freya, Kol, Rebekah, and Elijah. So, what is Hayley doing, where is she going with baby Hope, and where is she taking the Mikaelsons? Will Marcel hunt for Hayley in order to get answers?

Warning: Spoilers, rumors, and theories for The Originals Season 4 are ahead.

On the Season 3 finale of The Originals, Marcel thought the Mikaelsons were dead. While he put a comatose Klaus in a tomb, the rest of the Mikaelsons were transported to a dreamscape. While there, all they can do is wait to be rescued or somehow save themselves. Vincent wasn’t too happy with Marcel’s actions and gave him a warning. Also, Hayley took baby Hope, packed up a moving truck, and left New Orleans. In the back of the truck, Hayley had the caskets belonging to Freya, Kol, Rebekah, and Elijah Mikaelson.

Where Hayley is taking the Mikaelsons on The Originals is not known. However, Ecumenical News wrote that Phoebe Tonkin‘s character will take the bodies somewhere safe. It makes sense since it would be difficult to hunt for a cure while carrying four dead bodies in a moving truck. Hayley will also need to be able to move quick and under the radar. The executive producer of The CW series said Marcel will find out quickly that the Mikaelsons are still alive.

“Very soon after the end of our finale, because the Elijah line of vampires won’t drop dead, Marcel is bound to figure out that Elijah is still alive,” Michael Narducci told TV Line. “And when he does that, he’ll think, ‘Maybe Kol’s not dead either. Or Freya.’ All he has as collateral is the long-suffering body of his sire, who’s entombed in an undisclosed place. There are a lot of rich, interesting things to play with moving forward. But the question is: Is this family permanently destroyed, and is Marcel going to be their enemy forever?”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Marcel will want to know where the Mikaelsons are and how to reach them. He will probably want to contact Hayley, but she will be on the run with baby Hope. Marcel may use a witch to locate Hayley, but fans of The Originals hope she will be one step ahead of him.

While Hayley tries to find a cure when The Originals returns, where will she stash the bodies? She can’t just put the caskets anywhere. They need to be safe, a place that will leave the bodies untouched until Hayley finds what she is looking for. Could Hayley ask a witch to put a protective barrier around the caskets? Or perhaps the bodies will be hidden in another dimension, similar to what happened to Freya, Kol, Rebekah, and Elijah? Whomever Hayley goes to for help, it will have to be someone she trusts. A person or supernatural being that will protect the caskets no matter what.

Even though Marcel is much more dangerous and powerful now, don’t expect him to be a villain in The Originals Season 4. According to Narducci, that is not happening and Marcel will never be considered a “big bad” of the show.

“I want to make this very clear: Marcel Gerard is absolutely not the villain of our show and he will never be the villain of our show,” The Originals executive producer told Entertainment Weekly. “Marcel Gerard is the king of the vampires of New Orleans, he has been a loyal ally to those who are his allies, and he has been a ruthless enemy to those who have defied him or attacked his loved ones.”

Narducci explained that Marcel worked with the Mikaelsons for a long time, but the bond was broken. Marcel can sentence them to death even though he has a long history with the family. Moving forward, can Marcel and the Mikaelsons patch things up on The Originals? Based on what the executive producer said, it sounds like something might bring them back together. However, Klaus has to wake up first and the rest of the Mikaelsons need to be saved.
