Lamar Odom appears to be headed for disaster yet again, and the latest bombshell discovery inside his home may insinuate the possibility of trouble ahead. According to TMZ, the former NBA star’s family is worried that he’s headed toward another path of destruction that involves drugs and alcohol and it’s all because of the items found in his home. It has been reported that crack pipes were found in Lamar Odom‘s home. Then, to make matters worse, the disturbing items were reportedly found while a friend was attempting to have an intervention with him.

As expected, the disturbing discovery was quite alarming for Lamar’s family and friends because it proves that even a near-death experience wasn’t enough to make Lamar Odom turn his life around. However, there have been many signs that suggested Lamar would relapse over time. Since he was discharged from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center back in January, Lamar Odom has refused to enter a rehabilitation center.

Although he managed to stay out of the public eye for a few months, which led many news outlets to believe he and his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian would reconcile, his actions the weekend of Easter raised concerns about the possibility of a relapse in the near future. For those who missed it, Lamar Odom was spotted ordering drinks at a local bar after attending an Easter service with Khloe. An insider recently explained what the drinking signified during an interview with People magazine.

“When he was first drinking again, some said he was just getting back to normal – clearly this was just a gateway back to his destructive behavior,” continues the source, who says Odom “is an addict and should never have been drinking again.”

Shortly after Lamar Odom was spotted drinking, he was also invited back to the Love Ranch by the owner, Dennis Hof. For those who don’t remember, the Love Ranch is the legal brothel where Lamar was found unconscious after a weekend-long binge filled with alcohol and substance abuse. Instead of Lamar declining to visit the place where he nearly lost his life, he opted to accept the offer, which reportedly did not sit well with Khloe.

The latest reports about the crack pipes found in Lamar Odom’s home follow Khloe Kardashian’s decision to file for divorce yet again. After months of attempting to help Lamar regain control of his life, Khloe has decided to throw in the towel. Could she have seen a relapse coming from a mile away?

According to Hollywood Life, Khloe may have picked the perfect time to file for divorce because Lamar Odom is reportedly partying more than ever now, which means there’s a strong possibility he could be facing more trouble with drug and alcohol abuse in the near future. Initially, Khloe worked relentlessly to monitor Lamar, but he reportedly grew tired of the supervision less than a month after being released from the hospital. Lamar’s refusal to seek rehabilitative help is said to have contributed to Khloe’s decision to file for divorce again, according to insiders.

Lamar Odom has faced problems with drug abuse for many years. In fact, it has even been reported that Lamar’s battle with addiction began long before he started dating Khloe Kardashian. Although Lamar Odom reportedly vowed to turn his life around in hopes of repairing his marriage to Khloe Kardashian, it doesn’t look like that will be happening because insiders claim she’s not turning back this time. Their divorce has yet to be finalized, but proceedings are in motion again.
