Maci Bookout: ‘Teen Mom OG’ Star Welcomes Third Child With Fiancé Taylor McKinney

Maci Bookout’s family just got a little bit bigger! The Teen Mom OG star has welcomed her third child, a boy named Maverick Reed.

According to MTV, Bookout gave birth to her newest addition on Tuesday afternoon. The couple, who already have one child together, a daughter named Jayde Carter McKinney, announced the exciting news in a video. They revealed baby Maverick was born at 12:35 p.m. ET and weighed in at 7 lbs., 11 oz. Click here to watch the video.

After revealing the news to MTV, Maci shared the news with her more than one million followers on Twitter.

“Mr. Maverick Reed has officially made his debut & completed our family. So much love, so many blessings!” she tweeted.

Maverick’s arrival comes just two days after Maci and Taylor celebrated their daughter’s first birthday. The proud parents gushed over their little girl in a post on Instagram.

“Our smart, sweet, and oh so sassy baby girl is a whole year old today!” Bookout captioned a photo of her and Taylor giving Jayde a kiss on her cheek. “Happy 1st Birthday Miss Jayde Carter, you bring so much love & laughter to our lives!”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Bookout and McKinney got engaged in January, and revealed they were expecting on Valentine’s Day. Not long after she revealed she was expecting another bundle of joy, Maci spoke to MTV about her thoughts on having three children, two less than a year apart.

“I found out I was pregnant with baby number three right after we got engaged,” Maci revealed. “It was not expected or a planned pregnancy.”

Although Maci admitted her third pregnancy wasn’t planned, she was still excited to find out she was pregnant. The young mother also revealed she wasn’t nervous about having three kids because she had already been through the process twice before.

“Because it’s the third one, you know what’s going on,” Maci said in February. “You’ve been there, done that a couple times now, so it’s sort of laid back.”

Along with Jayde and Maverick, Maci has another son, 7-year-old Bentley who she shares with her ex-fiancé Ryan Edwards. We first met Maci and Ryan when they appeared together on MTV’s original series 16 and Pregnant. Since then, Maci and Ryan have gone their separate ways, but continue to co-parent Bentley as civilly as possible.

Earlier this year, Bookout spoke about Bentley and what a good big brother he has been to Jayde.

“At this point, he’s really a huge help. He likes to feed her and help change her and bathe her,” Maci said at the time. “He’s wonderful. [His help] has been really nice and made the transition into parenting two children much easier. It’s awesome to see him so involved and, really, in love with her.”

To keep up with Maci and her crew, tune into Teen Mom OG. The new season premieres on Monday, August 22, at 10/9c. Joining Maci will be co-stars Amber Portwood, Caitlynn Lowell Baltierra, and Farrah Abraham.
