Miley Cyrus’ TV Role On ‘Two And A Half Men’ Not Getting Much Attention From Her Co-Star

Miley Cyrus may have a TV role in her future on Two and a Half Men, her first stint on the small screen since hosting Saturday Night Live in March 2011 and the first scripted television show since she was Hannah Montana, but her co-star doesn’t know much about it.

The singer will reportedly play the love interest of Angus T. Jones on the show, CeleBuzz reported. With her role on Hannah Montana having ended along with the show last year, Miley Cyrus’ new TV role will mark her return to the world of television comedy.

Miley Cyrus will play the role of Missi, a friend of Ashton Kutcher’s character Walden, who comes to visit for a two-episode arc. She meet’s Jones’ character, Jake, who is on leave from the Army, and the two develop a relationship.

Aside from Hannah Montana, Miley Cyrus has had a number of roles coming up. She appeared in the film LOL and also completed production on So Undercover, which also features Jeremy Piven and Joshua Bowman.

Though Miley Cyrus’ TV role has been making headlines, her reported on-screen love interest told E! News that he doesn’t have any knowledge of Miley Cyrus role on the show.

“Honestly, they don’t tell me anything about what the future shows are going to be,” Jones said while promoting The Creative Coalition at the Republican National Convention in Tampa. “But if that’s what’s going to happen it will be cool. I’ve met her a few times before and it would be fun to work with her.”

Jones did say he was enthusiastic for what Miley Cyrus could bring to the show.

“Whatever it’s going to be, it’s going to be interesting,” he said.

Miley Cyrus’ TV role is the first time she’s been in the news for her chosen craft, acting. She made waves in the past weeks for her engagement to Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth and for chopping off her hair to create a platinum blonde pixie cut.
