Cynthia Bailey Still Thinking About Her Marriage, Hasn’t Forgotten Peter’s Daughter

Cynthia Bailey has revealed that she’s going through some tough times in her marriage. Bailey was so disappointed in her husband’s decision to hang out with other women – and get caught touching them inappropriately on video – that she questioned whether he was truly devoted to her. Peter Thomas was working away from the home, as he was opening up bars and clubs in North Carolina. When fans last saw them on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Cynthia revealed that they were going through some troubles. She even hinted that a divorce was very possible.

According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report, Cynthia Bailey is now revealing that she’s still cordial with Peter’s family. Last year, the two were practically headed for a divorce, but it sounds like things may be turning around. This week, Bailey was caught hanging out with Peter’s daughter. The two posed for pictures, so one can imagine that the two are not fighting. Plus, Peter’s daughter is a grown woman, and she may make her own choices about whom she stays in touch with.

It sounds like fans will have to wait until next year to learn whether Cynthia Bailey has indeed decided to separate from her husband. Based on what fans saw last year on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, it didn’t sound like Peter was ready to make the effort and spend more time in Atlanta. Of course, a lot can happen while the couple is filming The Real Housewives of Atlanta, so maybe they are trying to work things out. But just a few months ago, Bailey revealed that they were not together.

“I have been taking some time for myself to just kind of figure out how I would like to move forward,” Cynthia Bailey said last year, adding, “We haven’t officially done anything at this point, but we are definitely talking about taking steps to officially move forward in a different direction.”

Instead of focusing on her marriage, Cynthia Bailey has been working on her empire in Atlanta. She launched her eyewear line last year, and her launch party was the premiere episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. She’s also been working on other accessories and now has big plans.

“You know, I have my whole Cynthia Bailey Eyewear line, and I want to live in the whole accessories space, so when he approached me about doing bags, I thought it was a great fit for another accessory to have under the Cynthia Bailey brand for the accessories empire that I’m building,” Cynthia explains of her new business venture, according to Bravo. “I’m especially inspired by it because with my schedule, I do spend a lot of time traveling, so I love the idea of backpacks and overnighters and with the ability to expand into other travel leather goods soon.”

Even though Cynthia Bailey may be struggling in her marriage, it sounds like her business is growing fast and well. Even other successful business owners are reaching out to Cynthia to do collaborations, and this includes her newest business partner, Kal.

“The reason I chose Cynthia is because she’s obviously very beautiful, very classy, but also she’s an amazing person to work with. In terms of her creative, she has a great gauge in temperature for all things fashion and fashion-related,” Cynthia Bailey’s new business partner Kal told the Daily Dish, according to Bravo. “So for those reasons I chose Cynthia, in addition to the fact that what she represents herself is timeless beauty.”

Bailey doesn’t really talk about her personal issues on social media, so fans may have to wait until The Real Housewives of Atlanta returns later this year to get an update.
