‘Teen Mom 2’ Leah Messer Defends Parenting As Corey Simms And Wife Miranda Enjoy Baby Remi
Teen Mom 2 Leah Messer just can’t seem to shake the ongoing reports of bad parenting. As Season 7 continues, Leah Messer’s behavior has been raising questions with fans, and in addition to backlash on social media, Leah Messer has also been faced with claims of neglect.
During tonight’s new episode, fans will watch as Corey Simms meets with his ex-wife, Leah Messer, to discuss their daughter’s health. However, when he confronts Messer about Ali’s weight loss, she appears to be completely out of the loop.

Although Leah Messer tells Simms in the sneak peek, as seen below, that she doesn’t believe Ali has lost any weight, Simms is determined to step up as a parent and suggests they ask a doctor about her diet.
After the sneak peek was shared, as Radar Online revealed on May 20, Leah Messer did her best to silence critics by sharing a photo of Ali eating in her car.

Last week, Leah Messer caught fire after feeding her youngest daughter, Adalynn, 3, whose father is Messer’s second husband, Jeremy Calvert, a container of icing for a snack.
“Sad how you watch Leah give that baby icing just to get her outta her way,” a Twitter user wrote as the episode aired. Another added, via Radar Online, “Did Leah give her baby frosting so she could sit down & talka bout herself?”
“Never should give a kid icing… Make her a PB&J. Leah you trying to give her baby diabetes?” a third asked.
As the episode continued, another fan brought up a scene from a past episode, which featured Adalynn snacking on packets of Sweet N’ Low.
“So Leah’s baby was eating sweet n’ low packets in a previous episode and now eating chocolate frosting from the jar,” the user wrote. “Great parenting!”
After the episode aired, Leah Messer defended herself on Twitter, claiming Adalynn had been sneaking the sugar packets when she wasn’t looking. However, the message didn’t do much to silence critics, especially after the icing episode aired.
Meanwhile on social media, Simms’ father, Jeff, has shared a couple of new photos of his granddaughter, Remington Monroe, as Simms’ wife, Miranda, continues to gush over motherhood.
“Some days she looks like her daddy but on this day she looked like her mommy! #Remi,” Jeff captioned a photo of Remi on May 23.
One day prior, Miranda Simms shared the following re-tweet with her fans and followers.

Corey and Miranda Simms welcomed their first child together, the third for Simms and the first for his wife, in November of last year after announcing their exciting news to Simms’ twins, Ali and Aleeah, during an episode of Teen Mom 2 Season 6.
In addition to Leah Messer feeding her daughter an unhealthy snack, the reality star has also been accused of failing to feed her kids before school. As fans saw during an early episode of Season 7, Leah Messer’s daughter Aleeah accused her of having no food for them to eat at their home, and later, she claimed Ali had told their father that Messer didn’t take her to school on time.
