Ozzy Osbourne Reported Missing After Split From Wife, Sharon Osbourne: 35 Years of Legendary Triumphs and Tribulations
Rumors of Ozzy, 67, and Sharon Osbourne’s split made headlines over Mother’s Day weekend, following allegations of Ozzy cheating with hairstylist, Michelle Pugh. E! News has since confirmed Sharon and Ozzy are breaking up after 33 years of marriage, only two months shy of their 34th wedding anniversary. According to Hollywood Life, Ozzy Osbourne, checked out of The Beverly Hills Hotel on May 9 and has frightened many by falling completely out of touch with close friends and family—including children Kelly, Jack, and Aimee.
A source close to Ozzy’s son, Jack, tells PageSix the following.
“Jack tried to get hold of Ozzy because he thinks he might talk some sense into him. He and his sisters Kelly and Aimee are worried about him and a bit shocked by what has gone on, but Sharon is in an unforgiving mood and does not want him in the house, so it’s a difficult position.”
Sharon, 63, and Ozzy have definitely had their “ups and downs,” but have always stuck together. Evidence of this dates back to their youth; It was 1970, Sharon was 18 years old when she first met and Ozzy—who was 22-years-old. Sharon Osbourne followed in her own father’s footsteps; Sharon was the daughter of music promoter and rock and roll entrepreneur, Dan Arden.
Ten years later, their wild romance began. It was during this time Black Sabbath kicked Ozzy out of the band due to drug use. Sharon took on a manager-role and stuck by Ozzy to help launch his successful solo music career. The couple married on July 4, 1982 in England.
Ozzy has also stuck by Sharon through her battle with colorectal cancer in 2002. Sharon also had a mastectomy in 2012 once she discovered she was in fact in risk of breast cancer. Sharon shared her experience with People magazine.
“I was going through chemo, and I’d had a massive seizure…[My] blood pressure had floored…going in and out of consciousness…They gave me a blood transfusion, and that didn’t work … and then they gave me the old electric shock treatment – to stop me [from] talking.”
It was during this time Ozzy Osbourne got into an ATV accident and was given prescription drugs due to serious injuries. The family made it through this dark time and Sharon went on to become a judge on U.K.’s X Factor from 2004 to 2007 and returned again in 2013.
Ozzy’s son, Jack, has had his fair share of tribulations and has also been plagued with health issues. In 2009, Jack Osbourne revealed an addiction to the painkiller Oxycontin and was treated in rehab. Jack, now 31-years-old has been clean since 2003, reports Daily Mail. Jack has since lost 70 lbs, but has also been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. In 2013, Jack appeared in public for the first time, on The Dr. Oz Show, to open up about his health struggles.
Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne hit the mainstream on MTV’s The Osbournes, at the time—a reality show unlike any of its kind and it was a hit worldwide. The Osbournes launched Sharon’s TV career, Kelly’s singing career, and more. Many remember Jack and Kelly Osborne; however, the family’s eldest daughter, Aimee, was rarely, if ever, seen on the show.
At 18-years-old, Aimee moved out of the family home during the four seasons the reality show ran. Amy revealed the following to Daily Mail.
“Back then, I still felt I was trying to figure out who I was in the chaos of family life, so why on earth would I want that portrayed on television?”
Since the MTV’s Osbournes, Aimee has followed in her father’s footsteps, partaking in the music industry—but, staying far away from the rock-n-roll lifestyle, as Amy tells Daily Mail.
“I kept it together, mostly. For me, watching people get out of control, and be indulgent and dramatic was very silly.”
Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne have survived major family conflicts and come out stronger. Or, is Sharon finally fed up? Of course, in 2013, Sharon was on the brink of divorcing Ozzy for relapsing on their 30th wedding anniversary. Sharon discusses a therapy session with Ozzy.
“He hated it. When this therapist would bring stuff up he was doing, Ozzy would get angry with me and I was like ‘Don’t get angry with me. You are the f*****r doing it!'”After sessions Ozzy would argue with the therapist: ‘You don’t know me. Why are you saying this? You have never met me.’ He’d come out angry and wouldn’t talk next day.”

“The sessions were supposed to last an hour and a half and Ozzy spent half an hour peeing.”
