Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne have mutually decided to end their 33-year marriage, according to multiple news outlets. A report from E! Online indicated that Ozzy has moved out of the couple’s home while Sharon continues to reside there.

According to the Daily Mail, Sharon reportedly discovered Ozzy was having a relationship with a celebrity hairstylist. This is not the first time Ozzy has been accused by Sharon of having an extramarital affair. In March, Sharon revealed on her television show The Talk that she caught Ozzy in bed with two different nannies over the course of their marriage. According to Us Magazine, Sharon quickly made light of Ozzy’s indiscretions, stating that she eventually hired a “manny” named “Big Dave” to have some peace of mind.

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne met when Sharon began working for her father, Don Arden, the manager for Ozzy’s band Black Sabbath. Sharon took over the management of Ozzy’s career after the rocker was fired from Black Sabbath in 1979, and soon they began dating.

Ozzy continued a successful career as a solo heavy metal singer and, under the guidance of Sharon, was able to build an empire. Ozzy recently reunited with Black Sabbath for a farewell tour.

In 2002, Sharon and Ozzy developed a new cult following after starring in the MTV reality show with their son, Jack, and daughter Kelly. Sharon went on to a lucrative television career as a judge on America’s Got Talent, the host of the short-lived talk show The Sharon Osbourne Show, and then as one of the outspoken panelists of The Talk.

The marriage of Sharon and Ozzy has had its share of ups and downs. Ozzy notably struggled with drug addiction and the physical and mental toll it took on his body. In 2013, according to the Huffington Post, Sharon discussed the devastation of discovering Ozzy had relapsed and was using both drugs and alcohol again.

Although speculation at the time was that the Osbournes were on the cusp of divorce because of the relapse, Sharon insisted that she was not going to divorce him at that time, stating, “We’re dealing with it. We’ve dealt with worse. We’re dealing with it and this too shall pass.”

And deal with worse the Osbournes have. Sharon battled colon cancer in 2002, surviving and thriving despite a dismal prognosis. In 2012, both Sharon and Ozzy were crushed when their son, Jack, the youngest of the three Osbourne children, was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. In May of 2015, Sharon Osbourne suffered a collapse at the Osbourne family home due to what doctors described as mental and physical exhaustion, undoubtedly caused by her hectic schedule and personal strife.

While neither Sharon nor Ozzy has spoken out about the current marital crises, the Mirror indicates that the Osbourne family publicist Gary Farrow confirmed the split, stating, “At this time Ozzy is not in the marital home.”

Concerns for Ozzy’s sobriety in the wake of his separation from Sharon have arisen, however, multiple news outlets have stated that sources close to the Osbournes deny another relapse.
Fans of the couple took to Sharon and Ozzy’s Facebook accounts showing both support and concern for Sharon and Ozzy while asking the Osbournes to dispel the break-up rumors. Currently, both Sharon and Ozzy’s social media accounts have focused primarily on their careers rather than their personal relationships.

Ozzy and Sharon married on July 4, 1982, and were set to celebrate their 34th wedding anniversary this year.
