Donald Trump’s mouth gets him in a pickle once again. When referencing September 11, he instead states “7/11.” And he keeps talking without noticing a thing.

Trump attempted to rally New Yorkers on April 18 before the primary. However, Donald might have put his foot in his mouth. Yet Trump’s supporters wouldn’t know that, apparently.

As Donald Trump took the stage, he mentioned there was something he needed to talk about with the people — something that was really on his heart. From the sound of it, it was the wrong date — or maybe even a convenience store. Instead of September 11, Donald Trump referenced 7/11 (possibly 7-Eleven). Isn’t that convenient for the Democratic Party?

According to Huffington Post, Trump claims he was at the World Trade Center’s location when September 11‘s terrorist attacks ensued. Likewise, Donald says that he watched New York City’s finest perform their duties. Verbatim, Trump expressed, “…I saw the greatest people I’ve ever seen in action.”

While this type of patriotism is typically inspirational to New Yorkers — as well as the rest of the United States — these rally-goers didn’t seem to catch Donald Trump’s slip up. Just as Donald continued to speak, his supporters continued to listen in awe.

It’s circumstances like this — as well as so many others — that make the American people distrust Donald Trump and his collective band of supporters. The flagship for September 11 is “never forget.” However, it appears that Trump and his supporters might have forgotten.

Before Trump took the stage at the New York rally, he was introduced by Buffalo Bills coach Rex Ryan. Daily Mail reports that, once Donald started talking, he mentioned that Rex Ryan — as the Jets’ former coach — “won championships” in New York. Yet, as mentions the source, these championship wins did not happen.

It has been long said that Donald Trump mostly appeals to the emotional aspect of his supporters. Apparently, especially heard from this most recent video, a lot is left to be desired.

According to Daily Mail, Trump attracted over 11,000 people for his New York speech. And they all heard his flop. In addition, Donald Trump’s “7/11” rally was interrupted by protesters. However, as usual for Donald’s rallies, law enforcement on-scene carried several protesters out of the arena “by their arms and their legs,” says Daily Mail.

As Donald continued his speech, the source notes that he predicted a win — actually a “big win.” For now, Donald Trump says that he will secure 1,237 delegates. This would lock in the nomination ahead of the summer’s GOP convention.

The Huffington Post notes that Donald Trump is leading the Republican primary. Next runner-up in the New York primary will likely be Ohio governor John Kasich. According to USA Today, Kasich received Theodore Roosevelt IV’s endorsement. That’s President Roosevelt’s great-grandson. He stated as follows:

“I have known Governor Kasich for years. In my opinion he is by far the best-qualified Republican candidate and the only one who could win the general election.”

However, poll results state that Donald Trump is far ahead of the other Republican runners, even as much as 30 points. For instance, as far as the New York primary is concerned, Ted Cruz appears to be at the bottom of the ladder. In addition, Daily Mail mentions that Donald Trump told his supporters to ensure they avoid voting for Cruz. Apparently, Ted “doesn’t represent what we need,” says Trump.

The New York Times reports a lasting impression of Trump’s promise towards New Yorkers. The source reports that Donald mentioned as follows.

“Despite its problems, we love this state. We know is going to come back. If I am president, it’s going to come back so fast, you won’t even believe it.”
