Kylie Jenner is probably the only good thing happening for the Kardashians at the moment. As Khloe, Kim, and Khloe are hit with a breach of contract lawsuit and Khloe’s show Kocktails With Khloe is cancelled midway, is Kylie Jenner the only one that can save Kardashian-Jenner clan? The LA Times had reported that the Kardashian girls had breached contract and committed fraud because not much came from them to promote their beauty line. “The Kardashians’ support was, of course, absolutely essential to the success of the Kardashian-branded line and was a fundamental premise of the parties’ bargain,” the lawsuit said.

And it’s not this one off contract that is causing trouble for the Kardashians. The Daily Mail had reported that the Kardashians are, in fact, losing popularity. All the magazines that featured the Kardashians-Jenner on their covers saw a fall in the number of copies. Apart from the quite apparent fall in the ratings, there were certain things done (or not done) by the Kardashians that were criticized publicly — especially the act of rushing to Lamar Odom’s bedside. It’s been said that most of their acts are done for self-publicity rather than because of genuine concern, the Daily Beast has reported. Could that be true? Are Kim Kardashian and Kanye West to be blamed for the waning popularity? Kanye West is well known for his Twitter rants that don’t go down well with a lot of people. And when it comes to Kim Kardashian, there have been way too many nude pictures on Instagram, and that’s not doing her a lot of good.

Apart from this, the Kardashians’ behavior towards Rob Kardashian wasn’t really praised, either. The family rushed to Rob’s side when he was reportedly diagnosed with type-2 diabetes. Caitlyn Jenner, who did up the sale of copies with her Vanity Fair cover and got a TV show on E! I Am Cait, could not sustain the popularity, either. The show began with 3.9 million viewers, but they dropped to a million by the end of the season.

There were also reports that the ratings of the show Keeping Up with the Kardashians had dropped significantly. The Wrap had reported that the viewers were down from 2.018 million to 1.327 million. Hollywood Life had reported that Kris Jenner is very concerned about the future of the Kardashian empire. “Kris is really concerned about sagging interest in Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” the insider revealed to Hollywood Life. “The ratings have slipped the past few seasons and I Am Cait’s ratings keep dropping. Kris thinks their fans are getting bored and really wants the girls to push the limits on their story lines to get big ratings next season.”

There have also been “In her defense, Kris just wants all of her daughters’ careers to flourish and make sure they continue to make big money,” the insider said. “But sometimes it’s tough on the girls.” However, if there is one Kardashian-Jenner who has more Instagram followers than ever, it’s Kylie Jenner. The Inquisitr has reported that not only is Kylie Jenner doing well with her cosmetic line, she also has a lot of “likes” on Instagram if one were to assume that social media popularity is a huge way to measure success.

And it’s ironic that Kylie Jenner, who grew up aping her elder sister, is now way ahead of her in terms of popularity. Sources have said that Kylie Jenner has seen Kim Kardashian steal the limelight for a long time, and now it’s her time to do the same to her. “Kylie’s sat back and watched her entire family bow to Kim for years now and she’s loved every minute of ousting Kim off the top headline spot this year,” says the source. However, the question is — Will Kylie Jenner be able to save the sinking Kardashian ship?
