Kim Kardashian Slammed For Giving Daughter North West Hair Extensions
Kim Kardashian is finding herself in the line of fire yet again.
According to a new report by Heat, Kardashian has found herself feeling the heat from concerned fans who believe Kim gave her 2-year-old daughter hair extensions.
The site revealed that Kim took to Snapchat on April 6 to show off a snap of North West to the world, and it appeared that the youngster was sporting some seriously longer hair.
Although Kardashian didn’t explicitly clarify if North West was, in fact, wearing hair extensions in the photo, which showed Kim and Kanye’s daughter sporting boxer braids that stretched down to her waist, a number of social media users slammed Kim on Twitter for seemingly altering her young daughter’s hair.
“Tell me this poor 2 year old child is wearing extensions. Is Kim high?” Twitter user @AlyssaBobbb wrote on Twitter on April 6, while @IsabellaMunden wrote on the 140-character site, “of course kim kardashian puts hair extensions in norths hair… [shaking my head].”
“Why’s Kim put hair extensions in her 2 year olds hair?” @elizabethshone added, and @AllyshaMcMullan wrote, “tell me Kim kardashian doesn’t have extensions in norths hair she’s like 3.”
Fans also slammed Kim in the video’s comments, as @amy_l_white wrote alongside the photo, “when a 2 year old gets hair extensions…. [shaking my head],” and @alexandrarayne noted in the picture’s comments section, “North’s hair sure grows fast…. LOL.”
Kim has yet to confirm or deny reports that she did, in fact, put extensions, permanent or clip-ins, into North West’s hair, although the 2-year-old noticeably had much shorter braids in an Instagram photo Kim posted of North and her cousin, Kourtney Kardashian’s daughter Penelope, on April 4.
But this certainly isn’t the first time Kardashian’s decisions when it comes to her daughter have raised eyebrows on social media. Earlier this week, Kim was blasted online after North West fell over at her feet during a recent event after Kardashian appeared to not even look up from her phone to help up the youngster.
Instagram user @teatenders posted a video of the incident on the photo-sharing site on March 5, which showed Kim appear to move out the way while sister Kourtney Kardashian lifted West back onto her feet following her fall.
“At least #KourtneyKardashian is the motherly one,” the social media user captioned the video, “#Nori fell on Kims feet and Kim was too busy on Candy Crush to even budge from her phone so she could help her own child up off the ground.”
Kim was slammed by a number of users in the video’s comments section, with users posting some pretty scathing comments about the incident.
“Yep poor North for having I b*** a** mom,” @laluchahall commented on the Instagram video, while @bossdeeray wrote on the photo sharing site that they wished “someone would flour bomb her again.”
Kardashian was also blasted over North back in 2014 after she cropped her daughter out of a photo she later posted on Twitter.
Fans slammed Kim for removing her daughter from the snap, which Kardashian edited to only feature herself in December 2014, forcing the Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality star to hit back at her haters on Twitter.
“Wait is this really news that I posted a selfie & cropped my daughter out? LOL,” Kardashian tweeted out after facing a whole lot of backlash from the photo on December 15, “Her eyes were closed and I was feeling my look!”
Kim told her millions of social media followers at the time, asking, “Can I live?!?!”
