Bethenny Frankel Divorce: ‘RHONY’ Split From Husband Jason Hoppy Nearly Finalized

Bethenny Frankel’s divorce from husband Jason Hoppy may soon be finalized.

Although The Real Housewives of New York City star and her former partner have been separated since 2012, they have remained technically married due to disputes over their finances and the custody of their 5-year-old daughter, Bryn Casey Hoppy.

Bethenny Frankel tied the knot with Hoppy in 2010 and parted ways after just under three years of marriage, some of which was seen on Bethenny Frankel’s Bravo spinoff, Bethenny Getting Married, which was later renamed Bethenny Ever After. Then, in 2014, Bethenny Frankel and Hoppy came to a joint decision regarding their daughter.

Although the details of their custody agreement were hammered out in court years ago, their property division negotiations are ongoing. Still, in a new interview, Bethenny Frankel sounded hopeful that the finalization of her and Hoppy’s divorce would be happening soon.

“I think things are coming to a head,” Bethenny Frankel revealed to E! News on April 5. “I feel like the end is near. I mean, again, this has been a very big surprise and I never would have expected that this would have gone one tenth of how far it’s gone, but I feel good about it.”

“I feel like I’ve survived something…I feel different,” she said of life as a single working mom. “The weight is coming off of me, and you can’t fake it and you can’t pretend you’re happy. When it sucks it sucks, and it’s starting to not suck as much.”

Years into her messy divorce, Bethenny Frankel was asked about her potential post-divorce festivities, and whether or not she would go out for a celebratory dinner. In response, Bethenny Frankel revealed she would be celebrating in a much more elaborate manner.

“Go out for dinner? You’re so cute…When I get divorced I’m gonna go out for dinner? Yeah—times 10,572!” Bethenny Frankel exclaimed.

“I’m gonna be giving myself Skinnygirl enemas. I’m gonna be funneling Skinnygirl down my best friends’ throats and my assistants are gonna be naked. We’re gonna be hanging from chandeliers in Times Square: body paint, tassels on my t—ies, coming out of cakes, fireworks, strippers, young men, making out with strangers, one night stands, five night stands. Yeah, I think maybe I might have a celebration. Oh, yeah, and maybe dinner.”

Moments later, Bethenny Frankel changed her mind about the dinner aspect of her celebration, claiming food wasn’t necessary.

“No, I don’t think there will be any food involved. Maybe we’ll grab a little bag of corn nuts along the way,” Bethenny Frankel continued. “Dinner… Yeah, the longest divorce in history since Ike and Tina Turner and I’m gonna go get dinner.”

Since her divorce, Bethenny Frankel has been linked to a number of men, including actor Eric Stonestreet, businessman Warren Lichtenstein, and most recently, The Profit‘s Marcus Lemonis. However, despite an Us Weekly report regarding Bethenny Frankel and Lemonis, which claimed the two really liked each other after beginning to date during the summer of 2015, it remains unclear whether or not they are currently dating.

“They met over the summer and have been seeing each other. He’s really smart, successful, and so nice. They really like each other,” a source at the time.
