Joe Giudice Claims Going To Prison Is ‘No Big Deal’ Amid Teresa Giudice Divorce Rumors

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Giudice is revealing that he finds it to be “no big deal” that he’s about to serve 41 months in prison.

Joe, the husband of Teresa Giudice, opened up about his looming prison sentence in a candid new interview with People, where Giudice admitted that he has a pretty lax attitude to his impeding time behind bars.

“It’s not a big deal,” Giudice told People about his upcoming prison sentence this week, which the reality star expected to surrender for on March 23. “They tell me that the low security and the camp there are almost the same so it’s no big deal,” Joe said.

“It’s a military camp is what it is. It’s not a high security, and anybody that’s in there is basically people that have already served a lot of time basically working their years to get out,” Joe Giudice elaborated in the new interview, “Once you are there if you screw up there, then you go back to high security.”

Giudice’s surprising take on his upcoming more than 3-year prison stay comes just days after Radar Online reported that Joe was spotted looking “somber” during what is thought to be his final public date night with Teresa before his prison stint.

According to an eyewitness, Teresa and Joe were spotted together on March 15 at a New Jersey fundraiser, but revealed that Joe didn’t seem like his usual self at the event.

“Joe, who is usually lively and gregarious, seemed totally unlike his regular, jovial self. He was out of sorts, quiet and didn’t seem to be mentally present,” the insider told Radar Online of Teresa and Joe Giudice’s appearance, adding that “Teresa seemed more into the event than Joe.”

“You could tell that Joe seemed worried about something,” the Giudice insider continued of the Real Housewives of New Jersey couple, “He wasn’t concentrating on anything going on around him and had a gloomy look on his face.”

The site also revealed that a “pensive” Joe opted to sit in a VIP booth at the New Jersey venue last week rather than mingling with the other guests, which reportedly included Teresa’s brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Melissa Gorga.

“While he was sitting there, it seemed like he was alone with his thoughts,” Radar Online‘s source confessed of Joe Giudice, “It looked like he was worried and appeared very somber, even though everyone else was having a fabulous time.”

The eyewitness also alleged to the site that Teresa didn’t let her husband’s mood put a damper on her evening and opted to spend her time chatting with the guests and “catching up with Melissa” at the party. “It looked like she wasn’t trying to let Joe’s bad mood drag her down,” Radar Online‘s source said of Teresa.

But while the site’s eyewitness appeared to reveal that Joe and Teresa were having a few relationship issues during what could be there final night our before Giudice’s sentence, Teresa’s lawyer is denying reports that the Giudices are planning on divorcing over their legal drama.

“The truth is despite everything they have been through, their relationship is stronger than ever and they are still very much in love with one another,” Teresa Giudice’s attorney James Leonard, Jr. recently told E! News.

“Teresa and Joe are not getting a divorce. Not now, not in six months, not ever,” Leonard continued of the Giudices, “That’s another sensational story that gets floated every few months to sell magazines or get hits on gossip websites.”
