Kanye West Appeals To Have His Record Clean And Remove The Conviction Of Beating Up Photographer At LAX In 2014

Kanye West wants a clean past, so he has filed the necessary papers asking the judge to remove the conviction where he beat up a member of the paparazzi and tried to steal his camera stricken from his record, according to TMZ. So far, the judge has yet to make a decision on the matter, but Kanye isn’t taking any chances because he has completely changed in the way he deals with the paparazzi.

It seems that Kanye West has done more community service hours than he was ordered to do in the 24-month period at the Los Angeles Trade Tech’s fashion school. And somehow, he managed to stay out of trouble during his two years probation. Of course, that is not including his Twitter rants that he went on last month.

In 2013, Kanye West had a lawsuit filed against him for attacking Daniel Ramos at the Los Angeles airport. The entire scene was caught on tape and it was plastered all over the online media sites. Mr. West pled no contest to the misdemeanor criminal battery and attempted grand theft charges.

The judge gave Mr. West 250 hours of community service, along with 24 hours of anger management sessions, and he was also placed on probation for two years. Kanye settled the civil lawsuit with the photographer, Daniel Ramos, represented by Gloria Allred. Kanye even had to apologize to the photographer for his actions.

The case was set for trial on April 14, 2015, but Kanye was able to settle out of court early. When Kanye West told the photographer he was sorry for what he had done, the case was settled. The amount that Kanye paid Daniel Ramos was not disclosed to the public.

Gloria Allred released a statement saying, “We were seeking general and punitive damages according to proof at trial. In addition, we were seeking injunctive relief. We asked the Court for an order preventing Mr. West from touching, striking, annoying, contacting, molesting, attacking, threatening or otherwise interfering with, directly or indirectly, Daniel Ramos and or the right of Danny and all persons, seeking to pursue the occupation of photographer.”

Gloria also said, “We were seeking general and punitive damages according to proof at trial.

Apparently, Kanye West has totally changed during this encounter and he seems to be a better or more relaxed person when around the paparazzi. One incident involved two photographers trying to get a good picture of Kanye at the LAX airport when suddenly the two paparazzi allegedly got into an altercation and began kicking at each other.

Normally, Kanye would yell some obscenities at the two men or continue to walk past them without a second thought, but Kanye did not do either of those things. He went over to the fighting, kicking and wildly going for the face men, saying “Bro, bro, bro, come on, man.” Kanye then cleverly inserted himself between them and he embraced one of the photographers with a long tender hug.

This incident was enough to get people’s attention and wonder what happened to the fly off the handle Kanye West. They began wondering, “Who is this man and how long will he stay nice?”

However, that was not the end of Kanye making nice with the paparazzi. Even more recently, Kanye emerged from a gym and one of the paparazzi was questioning him. The questions ranged from his political views, which Kanye did not want to share with anyone at the moment. He told the paparazzi that he wanted to concentrate on his wife and family.

Kanye looked down at his phone and tried to make a call as he wondered where Uber was. The paparazzi had enough nerve to offer Kanye a ride in his car to wherever he needed to go. Stranger still, Kanye accepted the offer, and he actually smiled as he did so.

“I don’t need Uber anymore. I just have the paps take me where I want to go! I’ll ride with you then. come on, let’s go!”

Once Kanye was in the car, he politely turned around to the man with the camera and politely asked him to stop filming while he made a call.

Do you think Kanye West’s new attitude will last, or will it last long enough for the judge to clear his record and then the old Kanye will return?
