Krayzie Bone Busted For DUI In L.A.

Krayzie Bone was slapped with his first ever DUI arrest, but the Bone Thugs-n-Harmony rapper has since been released from jail.

TMZ reports that Krayzie quickly learned his lesson, and will probably never do it again. The Bone Thugs-n-Harmony rapper told them:

“I was just riding home late and got into a little trouble with the law. It is what it is. It happens sometimes. I’m cool now. I’m going home.”

Krayzie was also quick to say, “First time it has ever happened to me. So lesson learned.” And when they asked if he would think to get a driver next time the rapper responded, “Yeah, that’s the best thing to do.”

Hip Hop Wired notes that, according to law enforcement sources, the rapper was pulled over around 12:30 a.m. for a routine traffic stop, but failed a field sobriety test, blowing a .10. The legal limit in California is .08, so officers arrested Krayzie Bone and booked him on suspicion for DUI.

This latest legal misstep is not the first legal problem a member of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony has been in, as last year, Flesh-N-Bone spent some time in jail for allegedly attacking his wife. His lawyer, Shepard Kopp, stated that, while the rapper pleaded guilty to false imprisonment, “Flesh has always maintained his innocence of these charges, but it was best for his family and Bone Thugs to put this case behind him.”

Even Krayzie’s friend Bizzy Bone was accused of attacking fans who paid money to see him at a meet-and-greet last June. One man involved filed a lawsuit against Bizzy, saying that he allegedly pummeled two men, and broke the plaintiff’s nose.

Krayzie Bone, whose real name is Anthony Henderson, was said to be extremely cooperative with police, perhaps a sign that his DUI arrest will be a one-time deal.
