MizPee launches contest for San Francisco restrooms

Online toilet finding service MizPee has launched a competition to find the Bay Area’s best and worst restrooms.

Bay Area residents, along with visitors to the city for September conferences can add and review their most memorable flushes, or cast their votes for the current leaders, at flushoftheyear.com.

MizPee launched last year and delivers a list of nearby toilets with their levels of cleanliness when people enter their location into their mobile browser. Details include purchase requirements, diaper-changing amenities, handicap accessibility and hotel-review style, users are able to rate toilets and leave a review. The service has seen over 3 million visitors since launching.

The contest runs until September 30, 2008 with results announced the week of October 6, 2008. The restroom with the highest ratings will receive an award to display at their facility or on their website.

As part of the competition, MizPee is donating $1.00 for each unique restroom vote to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.
