Justin Bieber & Kourtney Kardashian Rekindle Romance On 22nd Birthday: Scott Disick Relapses & Abandons Kids?
Since Kourtney Kardashian ended her relationship with baby daddy Scott Disick last summer, the mom of three has been stepping up her social life. Kourtney recently surprised fans when Kardashian and Justin Bieber were spotted together, and rumors spread rapidly that the two were heating up their hook-up for weeks. Now, just in time for his 22nd birthday bash, hints have surfaced that Kourtney is rekindling her romance with the pop star, reported Us Weekly.
The Biebs celebrated in style just prior to his official March 1 birthday. In addition to Kardashian, those attending his birthday bash in Bel Air were Hailey Baldwin (also rumored to have enjoyed her own fling with the birthday boy), Scooter Braun, Joe Jonas, and Sean “Diddy” Combs. Diddy even gifted him with a Bad Boy letterman jacket.
“Had to give lil bro that official #BadBoy Jacket for his Birthday,” the rapper wrote on social media.
Kardashian and Bieber were confirmed to be hooking up late last year, sources told Us Weekly.
In addition, an insider revealed to People that the Biebs was enjoying a big boost to his ego by hooking up with Kourtney.
“[He’s had a] huge ego boost from hooking up with [Kourtney over the span of a] few months,” shared the insider.
Kardashian stayed silent in public on the topic of her alleged affair with the then-21-year-old pop star. But then Kourtney visited The Ellen DeGeneres Show and succumbed to the probing questions for which the talk show host is famed.
“Does Justin Bieber help with the kids at all?” Ellen bluntly asked.
Kardashian denied that the 21-year-old served as an unofficial mommy’s helper for her three offspring with her ex Scott Disick. The children range in age from 6-year-old Mason to 4-year-old Penelope and 1-year-old Reign.
Although Kourtney said that he didn’t lend a helping hand with her children, she couldn’t hold back her huge grin.
“That’s the rumor. I know you all are just friends, right?” questioned DeGeneres, adding, “Or are you really dating him?”
Ahem.
“We’re friends,” smiling Kardashian finally responded.
Kourtney held her ground with that phrase, even when Ellen kept questioning her.
“You’re friends,” mused DeGeneres. “But why are you smiling that way? You’re smiling as if, maybe, it’s beyond friends.”
Kardashian tried to hide her face.
“We’re friends,” repeated Kourtney.
While Kardashian is trying to figure out how to define (or hide) her relationship with the Biebs, what’s happening to her ex Scott? Disick has relapsed and hasn’t even seen his children in about a month, according to Radar Online.
At 32, Scott allegedly has turned into a “deadbeat dad,” visiting bars around the nation while neglecting his kids. An insider revealed that he has not attended the outpatient rehab sessions in which he’s supposed to participate.
Consequently, Kourtney took action.
“She told Scott that he is not allowed to see his kids until he pulls it together,” an insider revealed to Radar. “Kourtney said that he is a mess right now and she does not want him around the children in this condition.”
When it comes to staying clean and sober, Kardashian views those outpatient rehab sessions as essential for Disick. So when she learned that he was skipping them, that was enough for Kourtney to get tough.
“He does not go to his outpatient sessions anymore,” emphasized the insider. “Kourtney had told them those were mandatory if he wanted to keep joint custody of the kids.”
One possible choice for Scott is to return to rehab. But although the Keeping Up with the Kardashians clan are attempting to get him to take that step, it hasn’t worked.
“They are trying to force him back into rehab before it’s too late. Things are looking really, really bad right now,” revealed the insider.
