Nicki Minaj Slams Meek Mill Feud Rumor: Not Breaking Up With Rapper Boyfriend

Following reports claiming Nicki Minaj was close to calling it quits with her rapper boyfriend, Meek Mill, the 33-year-old took to her official Twitter page, saying the stories are “fake” and untrue.

Minaj was alleged to have argued with Mill over their living arrangements, following the news that the rapper would not be able to leave Philadelphia until he completed his 90-day house arrest sentence after having violated his parole.

Nicki, who prides herself on being an independent woman, struggled with the idea of staying in Philadelphia for three months, knowing that she has numerous of businesses to run. It is also believed that she prefers living in Los Angeles and recently started looking for a home to purchase in the Hollywood Hills.

Sources alleged that the rappers were arguing back and forth over Nicki’s supposed decision in wanting to stay in Los Angeles while Meek was forced to complete his house arrest in Philadelphia, leading insiders to believe that the twosome were heading for a nasty breakup.

Just one day after the story first emerged, however, Nicki Minaj shared an update on her Twitter timeline, reassuring fans that there’s no trouble in her paradise. In a tweet, addressing her millions of followers, the “Starships” hitmaker writes, “S/o to these fake stories – who’s ready for the show tomorrow?”

She then went on Instagram, where she posted a photo of herself with the caption, “Shhhhhh,” which fans took as an indirect way of the rapper silencing the false media reports regarding her relationship with Meek Mill.

Whether the story is true or not, Nicki Minaj’s upcoming schedule shows that the rapper will have anything but time to spend with her boyfriend, having recently signed a deal to perform in Dubai next month. Minaj is also expected to head on out on a promotional tour in support of her latest movie, Barbershop: The Next Cut, which hits theaters in April.

In the midst of her supposed feud with Meek Mill, Nicki is additionally gearing up for the premiere of her own TV series, titled Nicki, which is expected to debut its pilot episode later this year on ABC.

To say that Minaj has kept herself busy in recent months would be an understatement, for despite the fact that her man is locked down in Philadelphia, Nicki has continued to make a substantial income for herself.

In December, it was said that Minaj couldn’t wait to wed her bad boy beau — especially after he presented her with a diamond ring as an early Christmas present. She flaunted the gift on social media, which fans instantly assumed was her way of confirming her engagement.

“Nicki is giving Meek a huge hint with the diamond ring and wants him to pop the question this year,” a source revealed. “She wants to be married in 2016 but she isn’t engaged yet!”

While Nicki Minaj claims that the stories regarding her relationship with Meek Mill are far from the truth, it has yet to be determined whether she will make a flight out to Philadelphia in support of her boyfriend, who won’t be able to leave the city until April.

Would Nicki Minaj be a good girlfriend if she was to take care and handle business in Los Angeles? Furthermore, she didn’t commit the crime, so should she be doing the time?
