Katie Rost Talks Gizelle And Karen’s Gossip Session: ‘I Have Nothing To Hide’

The Real Housewives of Potomac star Katie Rost decided to join the cast, because she thought it could be fun to film a reality show with her friends. However, she may not have expected that her behavior would be criticized so much by both the viewers and her own friends. A few weeks ago on the show, Katie attended Ashley Darby’s birthday and she kept making out with her boyfriend. Her co-stars were shocked, and it naturally lead to some gossip. According to a new Bravo report, The Real Housewives of Potomac star Katie Rost is now revealing her honest thoughts about Gizelle Bryant and Karen Huger’s gossip session, where they talked about Katie’s behavior during the birthday.

“Karen and Gizelle can do what they want and say what they want. I don’t judge. I always own my behavior and have nothing to hide. I also have no problem apologizing for making elders uncomfortable. Gossip is a sin (cue the thunder clap). Etiquette Rule #1: She who is without sin should cast the first stone. Etiquette Rule #2: Walk away slowly and humbly Karen and Gizelle because rule 1 is very much in effect,” Katie Rost reveals to Bravo in an interview about the episode.

Prior to the gossiping sessions, Katie may have felt that she and Karen were in a good place. Rost had no idea that the other ladies were talking about her behind her back, especially pointing out the fact that she may have had too much to drink or may have been under the influence of something else. In fact, Rost felt she could trust and rely on Karen, as she asked her to help out with her charity event.

“When Karen declined to help me with my event I started to think of the next people on the list to reach out to. I kept it moving mentally. I was just sad I wasted a lunch and a cute dress on a ‘no.’ However, I understand that Karen’s O Gala was her top priority. I respect her dedication to the causes she champions and look forward to seeing her succeed,” Rost reveals, sharing that she was naturally upset about the rejection that could have lead to a great collaboration.

Karen gave the excuse that she was too busy, but one has to wonder if she felt a bit rattled after seeing Rost at Ashley’s birthday party. The ladies had already started gossiping about whether Katie was under the influence or something, as she wasn’t acting like herself. And this brought up another interesting point, as some people felt that Katie Rost was a completely different person around the ladies.

“I’m not trying to act like two different people. I just think Ashley brings out my more youthful, fun side. The other ladies bring out the ‘meeting in the principal’s office’ side. It’s just a different vibe and I try to adjust myself to the energy in the room,” Rost reveals of her behavior with Ashley, as she seems more relaxed and happy.

Of course, Katie Rost may have been acting weird at the event because she is stressed out at home. According to the Daily Mail, Rost has put the pressure on her boyfriend to propose to her, and he keeps pushing back. The more she talks about it, the more he tries to change the subject. In a bombshell, he admitted that if she hadn’t pressured him so much, they would probably already be engaged. Based on her social media posts, it doesn’t sound like they are engaged yet.
