‘RHOBH’ Star Yolanda Foster Talks Current Relationship With Ex, Mohamed Hadid

Mohamed Hadid’s name has been brought up a lot on the current season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills amidst the drama that his ex-wife, Yolanda Foster, is involved in with some of the other housewives in regards to her Lyme disease. Has that negatively affected Yolanda’s relationship with Mohamed? In an interview with BravoTV’s The Daily Dish, posted on Thursday, Yolanda indicated that things are still good with Mohamed when she talked about maintaining a good relationship with him for the sake of her three children: Gigi, Bella, and Anwar Hadid.

“You know when you divorce, when you have children with somebody, you put your ego aside. This is not about how I feel about my ex-husband. This is about how my children feel, how Mohamed and I make our children feel, because at the end of the day it’s about them. It’s not about us. Our journey has already ended, so we can just be friends and celebrate the three beautiful human beings that we created together and go from there.”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Mohamed, in late January, directly responded to the speculation that he does not agree with Yolanda that Bella and Anwar has Lyme disease by stating that he “unequivocally” supports Yolanda and his children. He explained that his reluctance to talk about his children’s health in a public setting was “misconstrued.”

Mohamed, who is currently engaged to Shiva Safai, apparently felt he needed to clear the air in response to the Real Housewives episode that showed his good friend, Lisa Vanderpump, making a statement that called into question Yolanda’s claim that her two younger children have Lyme disease.

In the episode, during Kyle Richards’ BBQ dinner, Kyle, who was previously told by Yolanda that Bella and Anwar have Lyme disease, asked Lisa what was going on with the children’s Lyme disease. Lisa seemed caught off guard by the question. She said she didn’t know about it but if Yolanda says it’s true then it must be true. Kyle then asked what Mohamed has to say about it. Lisa’s response shocked the women at the table.

“No. [Mohammed] just said no, that she’s the only one that has it. I’m just saying I didn’t know. He said he doesn’t think that they had it.”

As the Inquisitr reported, Lisa, in her blog post recapping the episode, wrote that she regrets talking about the subject. She also wrote that Mohamed had always told her that Bella and Anwar were fine but it’s his prerogative if he wants to keep their medical issues private.

On last week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Mohamed Hadid’s name came up again during Yolanda Foster’s confrontation of Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump for talking about her children’s health. Yolanda in particular criticized Lisa, whom she accused of saying that she doesn’t believe that Bella and Anwar have the disease. Lisa said that she never said that but only repeated what she was told by Mohamed, that the children are fine. Yolanda offered up Bella and Anwar’s health records to Lisa to prove that they’re sick and said that Mohamed pays their medical bills. Lisa refused to look at the records.

In her interview, Lisa said that if Yolanda says that Bella and Anwar are sick, then they must be sick. Lisa added that Mohamed must have just told her that the children are fine because he didn’t want to go into detail about their health to her.

Yolanda Foster, during her Tuesday night appearance on Andy Cohen’s talk show Watch What Happens Live, actually revealed that she will now again officially share the same last name as Mohamed Hadid. She explained why she was going back to Hadid rather than her maiden name.

“I never dropped the name ‘Hadid’ because I have three children by that name, and I asked the kids, you know, ‘Should I go back to ‘van den Herik’? and they said, ‘No, you’re our mommy and we have the same last name.'”

Yolanda and David Foster announced in December, 2015, the night season 6 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premiered, that they’re getting a divorce.
