Powerball is the nation’s most popular lottery jackpot game. The Powerball jackpot always resets to $40 million and is set to roll in increments of $5 million; however, there are several factors that impact how much the jackpot will increase. Powerball is a multi-state lottery association game. It is played in multiple states, therefore those who want to play Powerball are advised to check with their local state lottery for answers to frequently asked questions, rules for play and information pertaining to payout policies. Regardless of where you play Powerball, there are certain guidelines that everyone can practice to ensure they get the most out of the game.
When you purchase a Powerball ticket, you will need to decide if you are going to pick your own numbers or let the computer pick them for you. Powerball is played by choosing five white balls with the numbers 1-69 and one red Power Ball between the numbers 1 and 26. An Easy Pick or Quick Pick meas that the computer will randomly select your numbers for you. More Powerball and Mega Millions Easy Pick tickets are winning prizes, and this is becoming a popular choice for those who play the game.
Once you have your ticket, you’ll need to sign the back of it and protect it. Store your ticket in a safe place, even if it is just for a few hours. If something happens to your ticket and it’s a winner, you run the risk of forfeiting your prize. A lost or damaged ticket means you will lose out on your winnings, so keep your ticket in a place where it will be protected from damage and theft and so you will know where it is when the time comes. Powerball is a popular, fun game that can make you a millionaire. Take care of your tickets just in case you are the next lucky millionaire. Stay tuned until Wed. Feb 17, for the next Powerball live drawing and jackpot of $189 million!
