Kim Kardashian Shares Insights Into Motherhood, Mainly Negative
Kim Kardashian is known for her love of the spotlight and her role on the hit reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, as well as for her marriage to equally as limelight-hungry Kanye West. The couple now have two little ones, North West and new baby, Saint West.
Kim, though pleased to have been able to become pregnant the second time around, after complications with her first pregnancy, wasn’t at all a fan of the actual state of being pregnant another time. The star was sure to share about the discomfort she felt while carrying baby Saint, right up until she gave birth in early December.
As the Daily Mail shares, Kim took to Twitter to make known to Teigen what it is she has to look forward to.
“The 35-year-old mom-of-two posted about nursing her seven-week-old son, Saint West, early in the morning, writing: ‘This 4 am feeding really kills me. I’m like delirious.’ The model saw her tweet and replied back with a crying emoji, to which Kim responded: ‘Ohhhh just you wait and see….Lol.’ “
It seems that Kim shares more about her dislikes of pregnancy and parenthood than what it is she enjoys about being a mother. Often her comments on the subject are entirely self-centered and quite different from what many other mothers choose to focus on. It’s somewhat refreshing to hear honesty and learn that all is not perfect in the lives of Kimye.
Another instance when Kim was quick to unveil the negative side to pregnancy and parenting was when her younger sister Kendall played a prank and told Kim she was expecting. The mother of two received backlash due to her seemingly self-involved response. Entertainment Tonight relays Kim’s response to Kendall’s prank pregnancy confession.
“Are you kidding? Are you calling looking for mom? I mean… I don’t even know. I’m not the one to talk to. Because I had the worst experience. Today is not the day, ’cause I literally would be a little bit more negative. I’m on one hour of sleep. Want me to come over? And I’ll bring my thirty kids, and you can babysit and see how you feel.”
The prank was made during the taping of Khloe Kardashian’s show, Kocktails With Khloe. Although the response Kim gave when Kendall shared the false news would seem a bit non-supportive and self-centered in a normal interaction between two sisters, it’s not entirely surprising when reminded that this is Kim Kardashian who’s the subject here. The star is certainly known to be a bit of a diva. In all fairness, there were later reports made that a portion of Kim’s response was actually supportive and positive, but that those bits were not aired on the program.
What is clear from the reply Kim gives Kendall, and the portion of motherhood she focuses on when interacting with model pal Chrissy Teigen, is that she’s not entirely elated to be a mother to a new little one. Before giving birth to Saint, Kardashian also made clear that she would likely not have another baby after her second seeing as she feels she already has three children at home, with one being her hubby, Kanye. The Inquisitr reported on this late last year when Kim indicated that the rapper required a lot of her attention.
