Sheree Fletcher Blasts Alexis Arquette For Stirring Rumors Of A Will Smith And Jada Pinkett Smith Anti-Gay Conspiracy

Previously, Alexis Arquette blasted Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith for being hypocrites in that they are secretly gay and not standing with the LGBT community in their fight for equal rights, while also taking a very outspoken stance as far as fairness and equality for minorities in Hollywood is concerned. In her lengthy post, the transgender actress states that she has first-hand knowledge of Will Smith’s apparent homosexual orientation, and if she is correct, Alexis may have a legitimate gripe, but a recent video message by Smith’s ex-wife Sheree Fletcher may go a long way to proving that Arquette’s statements aren’t as factual as they first would seem.

Alexis Arquette drags Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith out of the closet

Jada Pinkett Smith declared that she would not be attending the Oscars, when it was revealed that husband Will was not nominated for an award this year. And while the public boycotting was certainly meant to draw attention, Jada may not have realized that it would cause so much scrutiny to be cast upon her own house. In particular, Arquette, who, as a transgender actress, is also a gay rights activist, called out both Jada and Will for their hypocrisy, claiming that their commentary on the racial bias of the Oscars committee was suspect, because, while they fight for their rights based on race, they’re concealing their statuses as members of the gay and lesbian community. Alexis feels that their secrecy hinders the efforts of the LGBT community in their struggle for equal rights.

“When Jada comes out as Gay and her beard husband admits his first marriage ended when she walked in on [him and] his Sugar Daddy Benny Medina… then I will listen to them,” wrote Ms. Arquette.

Alexis also alleges that Mr. Smith reacted strongly when he was asked to kiss Anthony Rapp in a scene for Six Degrees of Separation (1993), refusing to finish the scene until director Fred Schepisi rewrote it. Ultimately, Schepisi re-arranged the shot so that the camera was positioned behind Will Smith and the two men feigned the kiss.

In any case, Alexis clearly believes her own allegations and feels offended by the Smiths’ unwillingness to come clean. She ended her her social media rant with words that could be taken either as a threat or, maybe, as a friendly warning.

“Gays have enemies. They lurk in gilded closets. Outing is healthy. You are either with or against us. You decide. Today.”

Sheree Fletcher reacts to Alexis Arquette in a video defending Will Smith’s honor

Neither Will Smith nor his current wife have chosen to respond to the statements made by Ms. Arquette, but not everyone is maintaining a similarly dignified silence. While the Smiths may have chosen not to engage Alexis, Will’s first wife has taken a different approach. Ms. Fletcher posted a video response directed at Alexis Arquette in which she very plainly denies any allegations made by the transgender actress.

“Let’s just be clear: I don’t know you and you don’t know me,” said Sheree. “So for you to claim you have firsthand knowledge information as to why my marriage didn’t work out is completely out of line.”

Sheree added that she feels personally harmed that the Pulp Fiction actress would use untruths to validate her own point. Fletcher says that her marriage to Will Smith broke down out of mere unhappiness and that there was no infidelity on either partner’s part.

“I didn’t find Will in bed with a man, I didn’t find him in bed with a woman,” Ms. Fletcher says of her ex-husband. “Will was straight in 1992 and he’s straight in 2016.”

Sheree Fletcher was married to Smith from 1992 to 1995, and they have one son together, 23-year-old Trey.

Will married Jada Pinkett in 1997 and the couple have two children together, 15-year-old Willow and 17-year-old Jaden.
