A former babysitter and 17-year-old student in Spain, Cindy Kimberly, was shot into the spotlight when pop singer Justin Bieber shared a photo of the teen on Instagram asking, “OMG who is this?” After Bieber revealed his Instagram crush’s photo online, the teen began getting calls from modeling agencies. Kimberly says that thanks to Bieber she is now about to walk in her first fashion show in Madrid.
The Daily Mail reports that Cindy Kimberly’s life was changed when she caught the eye of singer Justin Bieber. The teen says she was just like any other teen, babysitting for $4 per hour and attending school. The young woman lives in Denia, near Benidorm, Spain, where she attended school. However, an Instagram post would change her life after Bieber saw the post and wanted to know more about the beautiful young woman. Shortly after Bieber made known publicly his infatuation with the young girl, it was revealed that Cindy Kimberly was not famous but rather just a beautiful girl with an Instagram account.
Although Kimberly was unknown in the modeling world prior to the Bieber “OMG” shoutout, she is now in hot demand, with modeling agencies hoping to get the young woman to model for a variety of fashion shows. Cindy says that she will be walking down the catwalk for the first time during Madrid’s Fashion Week next month. Although she is now an internet star in her own right, the young woman hopes to soon make a name for herself in the fashion world.
She says she is “living a fairytale” but that initially she didn’t know how to deal with the new fame. However, she says she has quickly adjusted and is no longer overwhelmed by the response.
“My life’s changed positively since Justin appeared in my life. At the beginning I felt completely overwhelmed and didn’t know how to deal with it but now I’m getting used to it.”
Cindy Kimberly says that when she first heard that Justin Bieber had shared her photograph and was blown away by her beauty, she was blown away. She says that she has been a fan of Justin Bieber’s for six years and became very emotional when she heard the star was talking about her.
“When I saw Justin was asking about me I got very emotional because I’ve been a fan of his for more than six years. It seems like a fairytale. A friend of mine often used to joke that one day I’d be one of the girls he talked about and I didn’t believe her.”
Kimberly has not revealed which modeling agency or fashion designer she will be walking for at the Madrid Fashion Week show but has confirmed that she will be on the famous catwalk during the event. Although Kimberly says she is getting a lot of job offers, she is still focused on her studies. She says while she is listening to all of the offers she is given, she is focusing first on her education and fulfilling commitments in the fashion industry she has already made.
