Amy Schumer, Ben Hanisch In Love And Getting Engaged?

Amy Schumer’s boyfriend, Ben Hanisch, has recently proclaimed his love for her and now the engagement rumors are swirling.

Amy Schumer, 34, and Ben Hanisch, 29, have been dating on the down low for the past few months, but a new report claims that the two are planning to get married. The report was revealed in the Feb. 1 issue of Life & Style Magazine.

“They are giving everyone around them major wedding vibes,” an insider told the tabloid. It was revealed in mid-December that Ben Hanisch was dating the Trainwreck star. Despite the accurate portrayal of her role in her breakout movie, the insider claims that Schumer has been dreaming of getting married all of her life.

“She would love a big wedding. She’s been dreaming of that moment forever. Everyone’s predicting that by summer they’ll at least be engaged.”

It does look like it’s getting serious between Ben and Amy. The comedian brought along her boyfriend as her date at the 2016 Critics’ Choice Awards, where they shared an adorable kiss. He even posted photos from the event on his Instagram page.

In one of the photos, he shared a photo of them making a funny face and giving the peace sign along with the caption “2 awards tonight!!!”

Then he shared another photo from the red carpet, writing “One more from last night because this girl looked inanely gorgeous and I’m in love with her.”

Schumer first shared a photo of Hanisch weeks ago when he accompanied her to the White House to watch President Barack Obama’s speech on gun control. After she shared a photo of him on social media, the comedian joked about the news of her new boyfriend.

She then revealed to People magazine at the Golden Globes that she and Hanisch are very serious.

“We’re in love and it’s really exciting,” Schumer coyly said. Though the comedian has admitted that Hanisch is the first boyfriend she’s showed off in the public eye doesn’t mean he’s her first serious boyfriend ever.

“I’ve never been dating anyone that the public’s really known about. But I like that everyone thinks I’ve been single my whole life. They’re like, ‘She got her first boyfriend!’ and I’m like, ‘No, I’ve dated people over the years.’ “

Meanwhile, an inside source previously revealed to People that Schumer and Hanisch are both so smitten with each other, that they feel they both lucked out. Aww!

“Amy is so happy. She calls him her boyfriend and says he constantly tells her how pretty, sexy and perfect she is. She feels like she hit the jackpot.”

The Chicago-based furniture maker has already gushed about the actress on his Instagram account. He shared a photo of them together in front of a beautiful scenery along with the caption: “Sometimes in life you get extremely lucky, and the smartest, funniest, most beautiful woman comes along when you least expect it. Here’s to what adventures 2016 brings!”

Now, Amy Schumer’s fans want to know more about Ben Hanisch. According to ABC News, though the couple’s relationship is still very new, the two already share a history together. Little is known about him, but he owns the company, The Last Workshop, that uses materials that are 100 percent “sourced and made in the U.S.” and is “built by hand, made to last,” according to the website.

Ben has even posted several photos of the furniture on his Instagram account, prior to sharing countless photos of himself with Amy.

Earlier this month, Amy Schumer slammed the rumors that claimed she met Ben Hanisch on the new dating app, Bumble. She tweeted a throwback photo along with the message: “#tbt me and my date to the globes #roadmanager my bf will be there too who I repeat I did NOT meet on bumble.”
