Who says romance is dead for celebrity couples? Chris Martin gave wife Gwyneth Paltrow a big shocker when he decided to lay a big kiss on her in front of 20,000 fans at a recent Coldplay concert.
The Coldplay frontman, who’s usually shy about his love, took a moment to express his love for his wife at a recent Miami concert, running off the stage and into the crowd to find her in the American Airlines Arena. As quick as the singer placed the kiss, he was gone just as quick and back on the stage to finish out the set. However, that didn’t stop fans from whipping their cell phones out to capture the sweet moment between husband and wife.
In the video, Gwyneth not only seems shocked but overwhelmed by the gesture and the attention from the crowd. The actress covered her face and bent down, smiling all the while. While Coldplay was gearing for their Miami concert, the two were spotted in Florida being affectionate at a Fontainebleau Resort during a romantic night for the two.
Paltrow and Martin, who have been married for 11 years aren’t usually affectionate with each other, and don’t readily talk about each other in public. Martin, who never had a serious relationship before Paltrow admitted in an interview with CBS News that it was like “winning the lottery.” During a Rolling Stone interview Martin also shared sentiments about his relationship. “Being married to someone very successful and very powerful basically keeps you hungry to improve. You’ve got to be hungry. If your wife went out with Brad Pitt, you’d want to prove yourself, you know what I mean?”
The couple have two children, Apple, 7, and Moses, 5.
