Powerball Drawing: When Is The Next Powerball Jackpot Drawing And Winning Numbers Results? [Videos, Photos]

The next Powerball drawing is set for Wednesday, January 13, 2016, and there is great anticipation for the upcoming winning numbers to be revealed. As there have been no Powerball jackpot winners, the grand prize has grown substantially in size and is currently estimated at $1.3 billion with an $806 million cash value. Powerball fever has taken over the nation and sales have skyrocketed. As the latest results didn’t produce a jackpot winner, more people are planning to purchase Powerball tickets in time for the next drawing.

The next Powerball drawing will deliver results at approximately 11 p.m., ET., and hopefully there will be one or more jackpot winners. As Powerball fever continues to take over, the Washington Post reminded everyone today about recent lottery fraud and scams that took place at Powerball headquarters, resulting in a conviction last year. The article titled A Jackpot-Rigging Scandal is Forgotten as Powerball Fever Sweeps the United States went viral and some questioned whether there was something untoward in the recent Powerball drawing that has led to no grand prize winners and a jackpot of $1.3 billion and climbing. The current Powerball jackpot is the largest in world, lottery history. There is no evidence the current Powerball drawing or jackpot has been rigged or fixed, but that hasn’t stopped many on social media networks from speaking out and sharing their opinions.

And this is an interesting read from 2011. As you can see, the Twitter user is certain this lottery was rigged or fixed.

While there are some who are certain the Powerball jackpot drawing is rigged and fixed, there are many who can’t wait to get in on the $1.3 billion dollar action. And though lottery rigging is serious business, and a serious crime, that hasn’t put a damper on those who are entertaining themselves with Powerball dreams and fantasies of suddenly striking it rich when the next winning numbers are revealed in the drawing.

As last night’s frenzy continued to ensue, social media networks put a humorous spin while waiting for the drawing to take place. Steve Harvey memes began to flood Twitter, Facebook and Google Plus, while others shared their ideas of how they would spend the Powerball jackpot. One man, who was interviewed on camera by Fox 5, stated he would spend the Powerball jackpot, should he win the drawing, on cocaine and hookers. He later apologized for the remarks saying he never thought they would go viral.

That dude telling the journalist that he’d spend the Powerball jackpot on coke and hookers never gets old. It’s the best

As people prepare for the next Powerball drawing and jackpot, there are many looking for ways to win the Powerball and other lotteries. It must be stated that there are no definitive ways to win the Powerball or any other lottery, short of fixing it or rigging it. In fact, when you see someone who has repeatedly won the Powerball, or who has family, friends and co-workers who have also won, it tends to signal red flags that something is going on. One man; however, has won the Powerball and other lottery drawings repeatedly and says that he has mastered his own technique, methods and strategies that have allowed him to win big. His name is Richard Lustig and he wrote a book about increasing your chances to win the lottery. It should also be recognized that Richard Lustig has not won every lottery he has played, and uses large amounts of money to purchase lottery tickets. In fact, part of his method consists of designating a portion of his lottery winnings to buying more lottery tickets, playing the same numbers and hoping to strike big again. His methods have seemingly worked and there are people who state that after using his methods they too have won lottery prizes and even jackpots.

The Powerball jackpot and drawing are met with different views from different people. Some see it as a serious gambling addiction that needs to be treated, others view it as harmless fun that could one day pay off and others see it as a form of religious idolatry.

As some view God as being against the Powerball jackpot drawing, others are praying to win. There are so many people praying, that the Reverend Billy Graham wrote a piece about why God won’t let someone win the Powerball jackpot.

What are your views on the Powerball drawing and jackpot prize? Are you ready for Wednesday’s Powerball drawing? Do you have any religious views regarding playing the lottery or Powerball? Do you know anyone who became addicted to playing the lottery and needed help to overcome a gambling addiction?

The official Powerball site offers advice to those who play and encourages them to recognize the warning signs associated with gambling addictions. The Powerball site reminds player that Powerball is a game and should be treated as such.
