Niall Horan Doesn’t Spend Holidays With Selena Gomez Over Communication Problems

Niall Horan of One Direction has a new girlfriend, but things don’t seem to be going perfect between them. Niall didn’t even spend the holidays with Selena Gomez, and a source is now revealing that it was pretty much his fault. Niall isn’t doing a great job of communicating with her, and it is going to take some work to get things going for this couple. Hollywood Life shared that Niall Horan actually could have spent the holidays with her if he would have just explained that was what he wanted to do. Niall was quiet about his thoughts though, and ended up alone.

Here is what the source had to say about why Niall didn’t get to spend the holiday with his new girlfriend.

“Selena wants to be with Niall, but she is waiting for him to make a move, and he is waiting for her to make a move to hang out with each other more. They can’t get on the same page to see each other as often as they would like. It is not ruining the fact that they like each other very much, it is just frustrating for Selena because she feels that Niall isn’t trying hard enough, so she is weary of giving her heart to him because she doesn’t want it broken.”

Niall Horan is going to have to really step it up if he wants things to work out with Selena Gomez. The two seem to be a great match, but Niall not trying is going to end up messing things up. After a very public split from Justin Bieber, she has trouble dating. Niall Horan has to push things a bit harder and show her how much he wants to spend time with her. With these two both having very busy schedules, it is going to take some work to make sure that they are able to be with each other.

Niall Horan also didn’t spend a ton of money on her for Christmas, but he did give her a very sweet gift. Niall used a t-shirt and put a lot of his cologne on it so that when he was away, Selena would have it and it would smell like him. She must have used that a lot over the holidays, considering Niall wasn’t with her.

Youth Health Magazine shared that Niall Horan didn’t spend New Year’s Eve with his new girlfriend, either. Selena was in Costa Rica, and he was nowhere to be seen. Niall and Selena just don’t seem to be moving near as fast as Justin Bieber and his new girlfriend, Hailey Baldwin, who are obviously heating things up and being spotted together everywhere. They were together on New Year’s Eve, and Hailey has been sharing photos all over social networks. This all comes after reports were out that Bieber was hooking up with Kourtney Kardashian.

Niall Horan is going to have to really set up things up if he wants this relationship to work. Communication is key to any relationship, and they have to be willing to talk about everything. Niall would have been able to have his girlfriend by his side over the holidays if he would have just shared with her how he felt and that he wanted to be with her.
