‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Dr. Neville Rallies Support, Ashley Has A Plan, And Phyllis Sticks By Billy’s Side

Some interesting twists and turns are ahead this week on The Young and the Restless. Spoilers indicate that Monday’s episode will show quite a bit regarding Dr. Neville, as Ashley pushes forward with her plan to partner with him. There is also more coming with Billy as his life has spiraled out of control. What can viewers expect from the December 21 episode?

As She Knows Soaps indicates, Gwen will be let go from Jabot due to the financial implications of the lawsuit settlement, and Young and Restless spoilers detail that Gwen will quickly connect with Devon about wanting to work on the research project with Dr. Neville. Understandably, Devon is a bit stunned by Gwen’s request, considering her involvement in hiding Hilary from him. The two talk about the complicated situation, and Devon indicates that, ultimately, Neil will have the final say on Gwen’s involvement.

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Ashley will be seen talking with someone on the phone, indicating that she plans to do things her way and her family will not find out the truth about what is going on. She will talk with Neville about their partnership and she calls Jack, indicating she needs to meet him at the lab.

When Jack and Ashley do meet, Young and Restless spoilers share that he is disappointed to hear she wants to rent lab space from the company, not return to the family business. Ashley introduces Jack to Neville, and this is a tense encounter.

Jack is resistant to agree to this, and he can tell that something doesn’t make sense, but Ashley, Neville, Devon, Neil, and Gwen all talk about moving forward. Hilary wants in on this project and, while there is hesitation on including her, ultimately everybody agrees. The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that at one point, Ashley will experience a horrible headache during a moment alone. Will Neville’s research manage to save Ashley’s life?

Also ahead on Monday’s show, Kyle and Summer will talk about where they are headed with their lives. Phyllis goes to see Billy, and they talk about family and all that has happened. The Young and the Restless spoilers share that Billy will talk about how he messed everything up with Victoria, they’ll talk a bit about Phyllis’ quest for revenge against Victor and they discuss Ashley’s decision to leave the company. Phyllis wants to see the family come back together again.

Phyllis will get Jack to the Abbott cabin, and she will tell him she invited the whole family to gather for the holiday. However, she also tells him that Billy was the only one available to come, and soon Billy comes into the cabin. The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Jack will quickly realize that Phyllis set him up. Will he use this as an opportunity to work through his differences with Billy, though? A significant medical crisis is said to be coming for Billy soon that will definitely shake things up in Genoa City.

As the week continues, Soap Central shares that Victor will be pressuring everybody to work through the holiday, and this does not go over very well. Nikki is trying to create a happy holiday for the family, and viewers will see Sharon and Adam together for the first time since the truth was revealed about his identity.

Traci Abbott will make an appearance this week, and Young and Restless spoilers tease some progress in Devon and Hilary’s relationship. Victor is still facing threats in the episodes ahead, while Lily and Cane work on repairing their relationship and Sharon learns the truth about baby Sully. Abby and Stitch will get married, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t still facing trouble in the episodes ahead. There is plenty of drama on the way, and fans can’t wait to see what comes next. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS.
