Karrueche Tran Speaks Out After Being Photographed Wearing A Diamond Ring From Ex Chris Brown

Karrueche Tran may be taking some time to relax while vacationing in Miami Beach this weekend, but it looks like the model’s recent outing is already causing a stir among fans on Instagram.

Karrueche Tran has been photographed enjoying the sun and surf in Miami Beach on Friday before taking some time to relax beachside while catching up on some reading by Pastor Brian Houston titled, “Live Love Lead,” NY Daily News reports.

While photographers captured several photos of Karrueche Tran taking a dip in the ocean and lounging beachside in her cabana, one photo in particular instantly ignited engagement rumors for the model after Tran was seen flashing a diamond ring on her left hand.

Given the fact that sources close to Karrueche recently confirmed Tran’s budding relationship with Danish DJ Morten just last week, fans took to social media to question Karrueche Tran about the sudden appearance of the diamond ring.

However, the engagement rumors were swiftly shut down by observant fans who pointed out that the ring in question bears an uncanny resemblance to one of the rings that Chris Brown reportedly gave to Karrueche for Christmas last year.

The YBF took to Instagram to share a photo of Karrueche donning the ring on her left hand, captioning the shot with, “#Karrueche is in Miami Beach for some R&R…rocking a diamond ring on THAT finger (seemingly the same one given to her by her ex),” prompting Tran to respond directly to the post with an explanation behind her decision to wear the ring despite her split from Chris Brown earlier this year.

“I wear this ring when I want to because it’s my ring. It’s on THAT finger because it keeps men away. Simple as that.”

While some fans slammed Karrueche for continuing to wear her ring from Chris Brown, with some arguing that Tran was merely seeking attention given that Brown dropped his Royalty album on the same day, others came to the model’s defense by arguing that Tran has been donning the ring frequently despite breaking up with Chris earlier this year.

One fan writes, “she’s been wearing that ring for almost a year lmao y’all so quick to think she wants to make news.”

Similarly, another fan points out, “I’m sure many ppl don’t know who she is. She has a valid point to wear it. She is not a celebrity world wide status. She is just obvious to ppl that are social media heads.”

The ring in question sparked engagement rumors between Karrueche Tran and Chris Brown last year after Tran took to Instagram to share a photo of two stunning rings that Brown reportedly gifted to her for Christmas.

While Tran showed off the rings on her right hand for the photo, the model further fueled engagement rumors for herself and Chris Brown after she swiftly removed the snap just moments later.

The news comes just days after Chris Brown denied “bashing” ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran in his new song “KAE,” which is featured on his new album Royalty that debuted on December 18.

After fans began speculating that Chris Brown “threw shade” at Karrueche in his new track, Brown took to The Shade Room to dispel diss track rumors by insisting that he was merely expressing himself through his music.

“The list of my mistakes are a mile long on my end. I’m expressing that I’m not familiar with who the other person is anymore at this point in my life. No bashing and definitely not hate,” Chris Brown explains, noting, “My love in general is eternal and unconditional. I’m expressing the man I am today the best way I know how, through art and music.”
