Double Date For Jennifer Aniston And Gwen Stefani?
Gwen Stefani has seemed to bounce back from a rather tumultuous season of heartbreak and scandal like the superstar that she is. The chic rocker has taken a steady place on the hit show The Voice, announced a new romance with co-judge Blake Shelton, and has a new album ready to drop. The first single off the album is doing well on the top 40 and divorce, with the nanny scandal aside, Gwen appears to be doing more than fine.
The blond beauty and her new beau, Blake, are reportedly making things even more public and planning time out as a couple along with superstar couple friends. Hollywood Life shares that Gwen and Blake are planning a fun double date with Jennifer Aniston and her new hubby, Justin Theroux.
A source relayed to the entertainment publication that the starlets, Jen and Gwen, were in talks to have a double-date rendezvous.
“A very brief conversation happened with Gwen and Jen and, for a brief moment, Blake. [Blake] was kind of doing his own thing when they were talking, but they all ended the conversation when Blake eased into it and Jen mentioned that they all should get dinner soon and have a double date outing.”
That would be one interesting date to be a fly on the wall! It’s a well-known fact that Aniston and Theroux have a mutual and deep affection for one another, after the two enjoyed a secret backyard wedding this past summer and have spoken openly to the media about how ecstatic they are to finally be married to one another. Gwen, who experienced heartbreak, after discovering her husband of 13 years, Gavin Rossdale, was having an affair with their nanny, is finding her way back to love after beginning a romance with Shelton that the two initially denied. The couple are now making their affection for one another public.
“Blake gushed to Entertainment Tonight, going so far as to say he is ‘thankful’ for Gwen, adding that she is both ‘stunning’ and ‘beautiful.’ “
Gwen has not only been open about her new affection for Blake, but has shared how her split from Gavin Rossdale, front-man for the band Bush, has been a heartbreaking experience, yet has allowed her to finally get back to writing her music. The songstress communicated, recently, how such difficult circumstances help her produce the best lyrics and music.
As for Jen and Justin, the two remain the topic of baby rumors and adoption claims. Jen has communicated on a number of occasions how difficult she finds it when she is constantly pressured and questioned about her plans for motherhood. The star has noted that she’s made to feel guilty about not having any children. Aniston spoke earlier this year to Allure Magazine on the feelings associated with this topic.
“I don’t like [the pressure] that people put on me, on women—that you’ve failed yourself as a female because you haven’t procreated. I don’t think it’s fair. You may not have a child come out of your vagina, but that doesn’t mean you aren’t mothering—dogs, friends, friends’ children This continually is said about me: that I was so career-driven and focused on myself; that I don’t want to be a mother, and how selfish that is. Even saying it gets me a little tight in my throat.”
Gwen and Jen have each experienced their share of media scrutiny and heartache, not to mention, very public divorces. If the double dates do pan out, and they are truthfully in the works, these two chic ladies would likely become fast friends.
