‘Southern Charm’ Kathryn Dennis Gives Birth To Second Baby Ravenel

Welcome to the second Southern Charm baby Ravenel! The baby boy, born yesterday, is named St. Julien Rembert Ravenel, and he will join his sister, Kensington Ravnenel, known as Kensie, 18-months-old, as the child of Kathryn Calhoun Dennis, 24, and Thomas Ravenel, soon to be 54 of South Carolina. The couple remain unmarried, and are both back on season three of Southern Charm.

The Inquisitr reported that Southern Charm star Dennis announced the pregnancy just two months ago, though rumors of the second pregnancy started to swirl around in May. On Labor Day, Dennis teased that it sounded like a good day for an announcement, but other news sources had beaten her to the punch. She reported that she was “surprised” by a second pregnancy, as in the time they have been shooting Southern Charm, they have always been on and off.

“I was surprised,” Dennis says of finding out she was pregnant again. “Thomas and I are always on and off, but we had a whirlwind romance that weekend. That’s kind of how we were with the first pregnancy, too. Things were wishy-washy, but we embraced it.”

According to Bravo, the baby was born yesterday, just after noon in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. The baby was due at some time in December, “but the baby did not want to wait.”

The Daily Mail says that the beautiful redhead and Ravenel are friends who communicate, and things are pleasant, though it has been reported that Ravenel has an attorney to work out visitation and custody. Things has not always been so smooth, as the two got in a screaming match on the reunion of the Southern Charm in the spring.

“And while a few months ago, he and Dennis had a screaming match on a special Southern Charm reunion show over cheating allegations, by the time they went public with their second pregnancy things seemed to be calmer.”

Ravenel, also back on Season 3 of the series, though he said the likelihood of his return on Southern Charm was like a “donkey winning the Kentucky Derby,” also seems pleased at the birth of a second child, as he made it into his fifties without any children.

” ‘The greatest gift thus far in my life has been the privilege of being a father to my daughter Kensie,’ he said. ‘Now, with a son on the way, I feel doubly blessed.’ ”

Though according to the Inquisitr, the Kathryn’s pregnancy did not slow down Ravenel’s extracurricular activities, as it was reported (and videotaped) outside of a Florida hotel with another woman, and confronted by the woman’s fiancé. After that, Ravenel was in a Charleston bar when another man head-butted him, leaving him with a black eye and a swollen face. There are no reports on whether or not either of these incidents will be featured on Southern Charm, which is still currently filming in and around Charleston.

There have been a number of these confrontations since Ravenel lost (live on Southern Charm) in his efforts to get back into politics. He came in third behind Lindsey Graham in the South Carolina race. Before starting on the show Southern Charm, Ravenel had a quick exit out of politics when he was arrested and convicted of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
