‘Once Upon A Time’ Spoilers: Episode 100 Title And More Revealed

Once Upon A Time is getting ready to celebrate a huge milestone later this season. The series will air its 100th episode when the series returns from its winter break in March, and Adam Horowitz is already teasing the special episode.

Spoiler TV shared a tweet sent out by Horowitz on Wednesday. The tweet is a script page of from that milestone episode, and it reveals the title for Once Upon A Time Season 5 Episode 12. The episode is titled “Souls of the Departed.”

Previous spoilers released for the episode teased that the series was looking to cast a man for the episode that sounded very much like the devil, which meant the series was likely planning a visit to the underworld for the second half of season five. With the episode title revealed in Horowitz’s tweet, that tease is likely very much correct.

What will happen during the first half of season five that will land the residents or at least one of the residents in hell? Fans will need to continue watching the series to find out.

Right now, the residents are dealing with a very dark Emma Swan. On the last episode, she caused some events that broke Henry’s heart. She stole the heart of the young girl he had been crushing on in order to force the girl to break Henry’s heart. On the next episode, Once Upon A Time Season 5 Episode 6, Emma will turn to another dark soul for assistance. Horowitz shared another script teaser for Sunday’s episode, and it features Emma and Zelena.

TV Line shared a teaser for the episode earlier this week, and fans will learn more about Belle’s past. This had been teased in previously released spoilers.

“Belle travels to DunBroch with Merida, where the duo is tempted to use Dark Magic on a dangerous quest.”

Currently, Emma has Merida captive, and she is forcing her to do her bidding by controlling her heart. Fans saw Merida go to great lengths to push Rumpelstiltskin towards becoming the hero Emma needs to take Excalibur out of the rock.

Amy Manson teased more about what fans will see on the episode in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

“Merida kidnaps Belle for a reason which you will find out in Sunday’s episode. She requires Belle’s help to help her in her quest to save her brothers, who have been kidnapped by the united clans of DunBroch, because they’re unsure if Merida can actually lead, being a woman on her own. Merida takes Belle on this journey to DunBroch, and Belle ends up saying, ‘Yes, I’ll come and help you.’ You find out the reason why she’s willing to help Merida. They go on this mission, and it’s whether they do manage to save her brothers or not really in Sunday’s episode.”

Fans will learn how the pair become friends. Belle in Once Upon A Time is very different from Disney’s Belle. She is not just a girl that always has her head stuck in a book. She has connections to Mulan anf Robin Hood, and she can handle herself in a fight if needed. Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis have created a much stronger character than seen in Disney canon.

Right now, Belle’s main focus is getting Rumpelstiltskin back from Emma Swan. He is now a very different man. Will he ever become the hero he wants to be?

Once Upon A Time will continue to air on Sunday nights on ABC. What do you think about this season so far? Are you excited about the second half of season five possibly heading to hell for the next journey?
