WWE NXT star Tyler Breeze has been a very good part of the WWE for years now. He signed with WWE around 5 years ago and was a very small part of the FCW territory when WWE had to train wrestlers. Eventually, the move to WWE NXT led to the Breeze character truly being created and the character only went up. Breeze is absolutely loved by the NXT crowd, but he may not be there for very much longer.
Tyler Breeze has worked dark matches and main roster live events a lot lately, according to Uproxx’s With Spandex section. Usually, this is a good indication that a developmental star is about to debut on the main roster. It was said that Breeze was quietly pushed to the main roster, but he has yet to make his televised debut to make the move official.
Many believe he could very well be on WWE RAW this Monday Night. Could he answer the John Cena U.S. Open Challenge like other NXT stars before him like Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens? That is quite possible, but obviously not confirmed. Some believe that he could debut after WWE Hell in a Cell, which might be the most believable idea considering WWE likes to have a big post-ppv WWE RAW.
John Cena is set to leave WWE very soon to go film a new fitness-themed reality show, and rumors have been that an NXT star could beat him for the WWE United States Championship before he sets out. While this could be Breeze, WWE is considering various options so no one should fully expect this to happen.
It certainly would be a huge debut for Tyler Breeze if WWE put him in such a position.
Fans absolutely love “Prince Pretty” and many feel he has a lot of talent that WWE can exploit for years to come. At just 27 years of age, Breeze is one of the youngest male stars on the WWE roster in both developmental and the main roster. The interesting part is that he has been with WWE for a long time and many feel that his main roster debut is far overdue.
He has been down in WWE’s developmental area longer than Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, Rusev, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, The Wyatt Family, Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Paige, Becky Lynch, and many many more. All of which have debuted before him. It is absolutely amazing that he has not yet had the opportunity to come up knowing that he has been ready to go massively since potentially mid-2014.
Regardless, it does look like WWE is set to go with Tyler Breeze debuting at any point now.
There is some speculation regarding his work with WWE NXT. Will he still work with NXT after his debut? It does look like it. He is scheduled for NXT’s U.K. Tour, which means he will probably have his last NXT show at the UK NXT Takeover special at the end of the year. It is uncertain who Breeze will face there, but it does look like he will work NXT until the end of the year, but be on the main roster well before.
There is a thought that WWE kept Breeze down in NXT as long as they did this year due to the injuries of many within the brand. On top of this, WWE was said to have wanted Breeze to be perfect by the time he debuted as they put years of work into him and his character. So expect Tyler Breeze to be one of the more complete packages coming out of NXT that was not a former top Indy star.
