Javi Marroquin Disses ‘Teen Mom 2’ Co-Star Jo Rivera On Twitter?
Javi Marroquin butted heads with Jo Rivera on last night’s new episode of Teen Mom 2, and online, the drama between them continued. According to a September 11 report by Starcasm, Javi Marroquin called out Rivera on Twitter on Thursday for not having a job — and not wanting one.
During a chat with fans, Javi Marroquin told a fan Rivera “should get a job,” and later added, “he told us he doesn’t want one.”
Currently, Rivera is expecting his second child with girlfriend, Vee Torres, so it does seem odd that he isn’t working.
On last night’s show, Javi Marroquin’s dispute with Rivera occurred after Rivera and Marroquin’s wife, Kailyn Lowry, feuded over child support. Because it had been a couple of years since Rivera’s child support was determined, Lowry felt they should reassess the situation. However, when she met with Rivera to discuss the issue, they didn’t have much luck coming to an agreement out of court.
While all fathers are expected to pitch in when it comes to supporting their child, some have felt Lowry and Javi Marroquin were too rough on Rivera, who just recently moved to Delaware to be closer to his son.
This week, Javi Marroquin and his wife caused a stir online when they debuted their new family vehicle, a Chevrolet Suburban, which starts at $49,7000. Meanwhile, on the show, they’ve been seen driving a Mercedes Benz.

In response to backlash due to Lowry’s spending habits and her child support demands of Rivera, she explained, “What I make/do doesn’t decrease his responsibilities.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Javi Marroquin and Lowry ran into a rough patch while filming season six of Teen Mom 2, but luckily, they are in a much better place with one another months later. Below is what Lowry revealed to Us Weekly of her marriage to Javi Marroquin in July:
“Ultimately we made it through. I just think it was trying to get on the same parenting page with Lincoln, and Lincoln was probably only 6 months old [at the time], and I think it was easier for me to make friends in Delaware, because I would go to my breastfeeding support group, CrossFit, stuff like that. And for him, he’s at work all day.”
