Kim Richards Continues Twitter Activity, Responds To The Possibility Of Writing A Book

Kim Richards is back on Twitter.

Following her April and August arrests, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star had been nearly silent, but now, Kim Richards is back. On September 9, she shared a happy tweet with her many friends and followers.

Also on Twitter, Kim Richards responded to a fan who suggested she should write a book after leaving The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after its fifth season.

Kim Richards has been making headlines regularly after suffering an alcohol relapse earlier this year. In addition to being arrested in April for public intoxication, resisting an officer, battery on an officer, and trespassing, Kim Richards was also arrested for shoplifting months later. In between, she was said to have relapsed more than once, although that was never confirmed. In new tweets, the former reality star has insisted she is sober and doing well.

As the Inquisitr previously explained, Kim Richards has reportedly been asked to join the cast of VH1’s Family Therapy with Dr. Jenn. However, her family, including sister Kyle Richards and her four children, Brooke, Kimberly, Chad, and Whitney, don’t feel it is a good idea.

Below is what a source revealed to Radar Online:

“[Kim Richards] wasn’t interested in the concept, or what she would be doing, but needed to earn a paycheck. She approached her kids about the proposal, and asked them to reach out to Kyle, because they aren’t talking.”

Included in the cast of Family Therapy with Dr. Jenn are Briana Dejesus of MTV’s Teen Mom 3 and her sister, Brittany, Lindsay Lohan’s divorced parents, Dina and Michael Lohan, Bam Margera, of MTV’s Viva La Bam, and his mother, April, and Flavor of Love star Tiffany “New York” Pollard.

“The kids and Kyle all said no way. It’s not because they don’t want to help [Kim Richards], but they felt she needed to go to rehab. If Kim had already successfully completed treatment, and was in a good place to begin truly working on relationships with the family, that would be a different story.”

Kim Richards hasn’t publicly confirmed her firing from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but the issue has been widely reported, and she has not been seen filming with her co-stars.
