Julianne Hough is flaunting her blindingly bright bling ring one week after she became officially engaged. Julianne dished all the details of how her boyfriend, Brooks Laich, finally popped the question to the Dancing with the Stars charmer, reported MSN.
Hough first became a breakout star on DWTS as a professional dancer and is now a judge. Julianne revealed that she instantly knew that Brooks was her forever true love.
“Although I knew Brooks was the one the day I met him, I had no idea what to expect as far as when and how he’d pop the question. Well… let me tell you guys, it was magical and sweet,” said Hough.
Julianne shared that her fiance picked the perfect romantic setting for his proposal, which took place at home on their deck outside.
“We stood on the deck, watching the sun set over the lake and listening to our favorite songs. Not even for a second did I expect that beautiful, serene scene was about to become one of the most meaningful moments of our lives. In fact, I was so taken aback when Brooks got down on one knee I completely blacked out!”
Hough termed it the best night of her life, admitting that she was speechless at first.
“All I could do was explode into his arms and experience pure joy from head to toe,” added Julianne.
Hough and Laich shared their heading-to-the-wedding news on social media. And Julianne confessed that she loves the word fiance.
“Being engaged didn’t truly hit me until I started saying ‘fiancé’ out loud. ‘My fiancé loves that song. Let me check my fiancé’s schedule. Have you met my fiancé?'”
Now that she’s no longer working those long hours with amateurs helping them get ready for Dancing with the Stars shows, how does Hough stay so fabulously fit?
Julianne follows a carefully designed high-protein, low-carb diet and workout regime, reported WebMD.
Hough shared that she eats lots of fish for protein as well as vegetables. A typical dinner includes fish and asparagus, while lunch often consists of eggs and artichokes with spinach.
But Julianne confessed that when she began dating Ryan Seacrest, she gained 20 pounds.
To take off the pounds, Hough shifted to a more stringent diet.
“The first thing I do is I cut out alcohol, especially wine, completely. I stop the sugar and white, flour-based carbs. I’ll add protein shakes some days; maybe the next day a green shake or drink. I like to mix it up,” revealed Julianne.
Hough varies her workout routines. Some of her favorites are SoulCycle, ballet, and swimming.
As to why Julianne and Ryan Seacrest broke up, their lifestyles clashed, reported Us Weekly.
Hough wanted a more relaxed life, and Seacrest is obsessed with work, said sources.
“Dude works all the time,” said an insider. “It’s a lifestyle she couldn’t handle anymore. Work always, always came first [for Ryan] She wants a more lowkey life.”
