Terrence Howard, Mira Pak Secret Divorce Revealed During ‘Empire’ Actor’s Legal Battle With Second Ex-Wife [Video]

Terrence Howard and Mira Pak are divorced. Terrence has been in the midst of a legal battle with Michelle Ghent, his second wife. But now it’s been revealed that Howard’s marriage to Mira ended on July 27, reported the New York Daily News.

Pak decided to divorce Terrence in March 2015. At that time, the 38-year-old was pregnant. Howard and Mira welcomed their son Qirin in May.

But the majority of the public wasn’t aware of their divorce until this week, when Terrence headed to court to charge that Ghent had resorted to extortion regarding their 2012 settlement.

During the comments made by Ghent’s lawyer, a description of Mira as Howard’s ex-wife revealed the divorce. It was unexpected in part because Pak had even gone to court this month to show her support for Terrence.

During the court proceedings about the reason he agreed to settle with Ghent, Howard claimed she warned him that she would unveil recordings that would humiliate him. Among those recordings were ones showing him without clothes dancing as well as recordings of phone sex with women other than his wife.

In turn, Ghent’s lawyers defended her by stating that that the Empire star has “free will.” Ghent reportedly also warned Terrence that she would sell the recordings because she feared being evicted.

However, during the court battle, a recording revealed that Howard had promised that even though he was married to Mira, he continued to adore Ghent.

“I will never love someone like I loved you,” said the Empire actor. “You are my dream of all time.”

When Ghent’s attorney questioned as to why he made that statement about love and dream woman after she allegedly tried to get money by those means, Terrence admitted that his feelings were complicated.

Moreover, Howard is angry about the publicity that resulted from his court fight, reported MSN.

“Sad that this has to be on a public forum,” declared Terrence. “To have your personal life exposed between family and shared with the public, I think is a violation of our privacy, and of our constitutional rights.”

Howard urged that the system be reformed.

The news about the divorce follows a long line of celebrity divorces this year.

High on the list were Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, as the Inquisitr reported.

Both are reportedly concerned about their children. Samuel is only 3, while Seraphina is 6, and the oldest, Violet, is 9-years-old.
