Kim Richards Mug Shot, Arrest Details — Plus, Former ‘RHOBH’ Co-Star Joyce Giraud Speaks Out

Kim Richards’ mug shot has hit the web over one week after the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was arrested for allegedly shoplifting from a Target store in Van Nuys.

On August 9, the Daily Mail UK spoke to Kim Richards’ former co-star, Joyce Giraud, who offered her financial assistance to the troubled actress.

“Always,” Giraud said when asked if she would consider loaning Kim Richards money. “A hundred percent.”

“I feel really bad for her because I love her. She was always very sweet to me. I can just hope she gets better. She knows I am here for her if she needs me. I already texted her.”

Kim Richards was arrested on Sunday, August 2, after she reportedly attempted to steal more than $600 worth of toys from Tagret. According to an August 10 report by Perez Hilton, new details of Richards’ recent arrest have since been revealed. Below is what the report stated.

“[Kim Richards] loaded up reusable bags from the dollar section of the store and took it to the express line but told them that the items had already been paid for. She then grabbed another cart and started loading it up with beauty products and toys. She made it a full 3 feet out of the store when a security guard caught her and escorted her to the booking room. Once in there, the reality star tried to say she didn’t remember if she had paid for the items or not.”

Kim Richards’ struggles with alcoholism are years old, but up until earlier this year, she had been sober. Following a rehab stint during filming on an early season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kim Richards appeared to be doing well, but after Season 5, things took a turn for the worse and shortly after filming wrapped, Richards relapsed. In the months that have followed, Kim Richards attended a couple more treatment programs, and was arrested twice, once for shoplifting and a second time for public intoxication, trespassing, resisting an officer and battery on an officer at the Beverly Hills Hotel on April 16.

Following her arrests, Kim Richards was reportedly released from her full-time role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and, as the Inquisitr previously reported, she isn’t expected to return to the series in any capacity.
