Meghan King Edmonds Moved To California To Appear On ‘RHOC?’
Meghan King Edmonds told her co-stars she moved to California to help co-parent her husband’s, Jim Edmonds’, 17-year-old daughter, Haley, but a new report claims otherwise. According to a Radar Online report on August 10, Meghan King Edmonds actually moved to the west coast so she could appear on Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Orange County.
“She has always wanted to be famous. She knew if she moved, she could get a spot on the show.”
Although Radar Online‘s source claimed Haley did need supervision in her home state of California, there were reportedly several other family members who would have been more than willing to help parent the teen.
In addition, claimed the source, Jim Edmonds’ second wife, Allison, was rumored to be in talks with Bravo to appear on The Real Housewives of Orange County before she was said to have turned it down due to her privacy concerns.
“Allison decided not to join the show because she was concerned about her privacy, but Meghan really likes to be in the spotlight.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Meghan King Edmonds has been caught in the middle of the drama many a time on The Real Housewives of Orange County after joining the series earlier this year. She’s also received backlash online for leaving Haley just two days after her mother, LeAnn Edmonds, Jim Edmonds’ first wife, tragically died of cancer.
After sharing a photo of herself eating a cheeseburger on Instagram and defending her small frame, a fan claimed to be more concerned about Meghan King Edmonds’ co-parenting than her weight.
“I’m concerned with her leaving her step daughter immediately after her mom died (2 days) to go to baseball games, clubs, watch what happens live, etc.. Of course I will be attacked for my opinion, that’s fine and yes [by the way] I have been in her situation and I stayed with the teen for weeks.”
In defense of her behavior, Meghan King Edmonds explained, “[Haley] had an open invitation to go to stl with her dad, Washington with her grandma or NYC with me. She chose to stay in OC with her sister and stepdad.”
Meghan King Edmonds has also battled allegations of being a gold digger on The Real Housewives of Orange County, an allegation that swirled after Vicki Gunvalson questioned why she chose not to work.
