Scott Disick To Crash Kylie Jenner’s Birthday: Desperate Ploy Or Reality TV Plot?

Kylie Jenner’s 18th birthday party may have a special guest: Scott Disick! While reporters, bloggers, and untold numbers of fans have been waiting to see if Kylie and Tyga will finally announce their rumored engagement on August 10, when Jenner turns 18, her former sort of brother-in-law has secretly been plotting to crash her birthday festivities.

The 32-year-old self-styled Lord Disick is desperate to prove to former paramour Kourtney Kardashian that he’s turned over a new leaf. He could attempt couple’s therapy. He could put away his alcohol and drug fueled party lifestyle. He could try good, old-fashioned groveling. It seems that Scott Disick has settled on a grand gesture, specifically gate crashing Kylie’s big day. What better way to prove that you aren’t the wild child everyone thinks you are than showing up uninvited to a family function?

There may be a method to Scott’s madness this time. Sources told Hollywood Life that Scott has to crash the party because he wants to speak to the entire Kardashian family while they are together, something that can be difficult with so many schedules and so much traveling.

“He is planning on crashing the party one way or another. He wants to apologize to the entire family and he thinks this is the best place to do it. He’s wants to prove that he’s changed and most importantly he wants to make a good impression on Kris whom he hopes will help convince Kourtney to give him a second chance.”

The source claims that Kylie would love for Disick to attend her party but feels obligated to show support for her older sister Kourtney, who ended her near decade-long relationship with Disick after photos emerged of him cuddling with another woman.

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard that Scott Disick has started to regret the bitter end of his relationship with Kourtney Kardashian. While the regret may be fueled by Disick’s return to California and the reality of being a single father, TMZ suggests that Disick’s change of heart may stem from the recent wedding of friend J.J. Corsini. During the reception, Disick made an Instagram first that acknowledged the split for the first time, and seemed to show that he wasn’t as happy to be single as he’d previously seemed.

Of course, if Disick indeed plans to crash Kylie’s birthday party, there may be more an economical motivation. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick are both under pressure from Kris Jenner to reunite for the sake of the family flagship reality series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Reportedly, KUTWK is still in production, and it seems unlikely that Kylie’s 18th birthday party wouldn’t be featured during an episodes, if not worthy of its own special.

So is Disick the victim of another wild rumor, or carefully crafted reality television? With the Kardashian family, it’s hard to say.
