For the past two weeks, Grand Theft Auto V players have enjoyed a series of three different online events that have provided users with various in-game bonuses. Each one of these events has centered around a specific co-op heist mission within GTA V, granting anyone who completes the promoted mission with extra rewards.
Following up on last month’s events, Rockstar Games announced on Monday that they have a third week of events planned for the GTA Online community from now until Sunday. As the series of GTA V online heists events continue, gamers are now being offered double cash and RP payouts for taking on the “Pacific Standard Job” mission.

Providing additional information on this week’s event, the Rockstar Newswire blog confirmed that these current week-long festivities will be the final installment of the ongoing GTA Online events that players have enjoyed over the past few weeks. As such, fans will be tasked with taking on the hardest heist mission that Grand Theft Auto V has to offer.
“The grand finale in our lineup of GTA Online Double GTA$ & RP Heist bonuses kicks off today and lasts through the weekend with the biggest score of them all: the daring assault on the vaults of the Pacific Standard Public Deposit Bank.”
In addition to receiving additional awards for the heist itself, gamers will also earn extra cash and RP every time that they complete one of the prerequisite set-up jobs for the “Pacific Standard Job” mission.
“To set-up this raid on Pacific Standard’s flagship branch in Downtown Los Santos, you’ll need to steal motorbikes from the Lost M.C., destroy a Merryweather convoy, extract a fugitive from the clutches of the LSPD and much more – all while earning twice the GTA$ and RP you normally would.”
Furthermore, finishing any elite challenge associated with GTA Online’s final heist mission will also give out double rewards this week. These challenges give additional bonuses to those who can complete the mission particularly well.
Once again, players will also be able to earn extra RP to help level their GTA Online characters while performing a series of pre-designated activities. As such, select missions, challenges, and stunts will also grant double RP during this week’s event.
Those looking to spend some of the extra cash they’ve managed to accumulate throughout the many heist events can also check out different savings on in-game items that will continue to be offered every day this week. As part of the previous event, Rockstar Games discounted specific heist vehicles for those wanting to pick up the expensive equipment.
