‘Drag Queen’ Sofia Vergara Talks Joe Manganiello Wedding And Kim Kardashian Sexiest Assets Competition [Photos]
“Drag queen” Sofia Vergara is busy planning her well-publicized wedding to magnetic Magic Mike actor Joe Manganiello. While admitting that she sometimes sees herself as in a sexy woman competition with reality TV diva Kim Kardashian, that “drag queen” label was created by Sofia herself.
Vergara made the comment while hyping her new film Hot Pursuit and dishing on wedding details, reported E News.
Joe and Sofia currently are planning just when and how to tie the knot, she added.
“We’re already planning,” revealed Vergara. “The good thing is that nowadays you can hire someone to help you and I have a great planner that is taking a lot of the stress away.”
But as Manganiello and his Modern Family fiancee performed PDA at the premiere, she dismissed her appearance in comparison to her beau.
“He can’t be any hotter,” said the actress. “I’m just an old drag queen.”
Sofia’s comment shocked those who regard Vergara as having rocked the red carpet in her shimmering Georges Chakra Couture frock.
And Joe certainly wouldn’t agree after proposing to Sofia on Dec. 24 as they enjoyed a very private holiday in Maui.
“I’ve never seen two people so truly in love,” shared an insider. “The way they talk to each other, touch each other. It’s incredible.”
As for the often-asked question about just when they’ll be married, Manganiello fended off queries with humor, hinting that maybe they even had eloped to escape paparazzi’s ever-present lenses.
“Maybe we’ve already done it,” joked Joe. “Maybe we already are [married].”
As for self-proclaimed “drag queen” Sofia, Vergara ranks as the nation’s highest paid actress on television, but still discounts her appearance when she sees herself in polls against Kim Kardashian, reported the Mirror.
“I’m going up for sexiest a** against Kim Kardashian and she’s, like, 10 years younger than me,” said Sofia.
Vergara is 43, while Kim is 34.
“She should be upset she’s up against me. I think I beat her once or twice. I’ve met her at red carpet things and she is just the most beautiful women anywhere… so somebody is going crazy to put me on these lists. Sometimes I look in the mirror and think I look like a drag queen,” added Sofia.
As for why Vergara used that term, the actress explained that she views herself as exaggerated in her appearance, including her use of cosmetics.
“I’m a woman, but I’m very exaggerated with my boobs, my a**, how I do my make-up, and my accent, of course,” added Sofia.
As the Inquisitr reported, Vergara works hard to maintain that fabulous figure. Sofia works out regularly with celebrity trainer Anna Kaiser, who also helps Sarah Jessica Parker and Kelly Ripa keep their own sleek physiques.
