General Hospital spoilers indicate that there’s a character departure on the way for one Port Charles resident, and the story apparently will shake things up a bit. There’s been some buzz building for a while that a murder mystery was coming, and now, new details are emerging about the upcoming plot. What’s the scoop?
As She Knows Soaps teases, there’s said to be a “shocking murder” coming to Port Charles soon . Not only will the death itself be stunning, apparently, so will the killer. While death is nothing new with GH , it sounds as if this one may come via a different set of characters than most would have initially guessed.
Viewers know that there’s a lot playing out with the Jake Doe/Jason Morgan storyline , and Port Charles is buzzing with other intriguing stories, as well. Nikolas Cassadine is showing his dark side, and General Hospital spoilers have teased that Hayden may be waking up soon to shake things up. However, the latest scoop seems to indicate that the upcoming murder may involve someone else entirely.
According to Daytime Confidential , it’s Dr. Silas Clay who will be departing Port Charles soon. Is this the character murdered in the upcoming shocker? That much hasn’t been revealed as of yet, but fans are speculating that the departure of Michael Easton and the teased murder mystery are linked.
Daytime Confidential has been teasing General Hospital spoilers that Silas was going to be written out soon, and that this has been in the works for a while. Though head writer Ron Carlivati has been axed and a new team pairing Jean Passananate and Shelly Altman are coming in, word is that Easton has already wrapped up filming and the story is a done deal.
From the sounds of the General Hospital spoilers for the current week, Silas will be fairly prominent. He will have a heated interaction with Ava over her betrayal of Kiki, and he will be making some threats about exposing her.
In addition, Silas ends up in the doghouse with Nina. It seems that there are some big moments ahead related to the characters of Kiki, Morgan, Ava, Nina, Silas, and the rest, and many will be curious to see how this seemingly becomes a case of a shocking murder.
It seems that at this point, the buzz is that Ava will end up killing Silas to keep him from exposing all of her secrets. Fans may not find this to be all that shocking a storyline, though, so there may be more to come on this upcoming death.
As Celeb Dirty Laundry notes, there are many male characters that could easily be pulled into a shocking murder storyline. More prominent characters such as Franco, Nikolas, and Morgan are mentioned. However, with word that Michael Easton is already done filming, the idea that Silas is getting killed off does seem to be the most likely scenario.
