Nina Dobrev, Bikini, Boyfriend, And Luxury Yacht Show ‘Vampire Diaries’ Star’s Rebound From Somerhalder Split [Photos]
Nina Dobrev, a sexy bikini, and new boyfriend proved that the actress doesn’t need to star in the Vampire Diaries, which she recently exited, to make waves. On holiday in St. Tropez, Nina turned heads as Dobrev, 26, showed off both her skimpy bikini and her new 30-year-old boyfriend Austin Stowell, reported Us Weekly.
Enjoying the good life on a yacht with pals, Nina proved that her swimsuit had staying power when she rode a huge slide straight into the ocean. Helpfully keeping an eye out to make sure Dobrev’s bikini stayed in place, boyfriend Austin was right by her side.
And a nod to her fans, Nina shared an Instagram video showing herself on that slide.
“Here’s to never growing up! Bye Felicia.”
Stowell and Dobrev also enjoyed traditional couple activities ranging from cuddling to kissing.
The actress revealed her plan to exit The Vampire Diaries in May, almost exactly two years after she broke up with her once beloved co-star Ian Somerhalder. He and Nikki Reed recently wed.
However, Dobrev emphasized that she and Ian maintained their professional relationship.
“I’ve said this before, that we didn’t break up because anything bad happened or because there wasn’t love or friendship,” claimed Nina. “I love him and the friendship is still strong and I think he’s great and I care about him. And that didn’t change. Yes, we’re professional and that’s fine. We were friends long before we dated and we still are now.”
In addition to Dobrev’s bikini and her new boyfriend, the group enjoying that luxurious yacht included Michelle Rodriguez of Fast And Furious Fame, reported the Daily Mail.
At one point, Nina slipped into adorably floral rompers. But while Dobrev abandoned her bikini, her boyfriend remained loyally by her side despite that fact that Michelle was flaunting her own fit and fabulous figure in a itsy-bitsy-teeny-tiny bathing suit.
Austin has been canoodling with Nina since June, and their PDA on that yacht showed that they’re a definite item, despite some reports that he was her form of a bounce-back-from-professional breakup following her May exit from Vampire Diaries.
“The fairy tale has to end, and the next chapter has to begin. I knew this was my time, and I’m excited for the next step,” said Nina.
Moving on with her life, Dobrev also attended the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation Gala in July.
In addition to Nina, Kate Hudson rocked the red carpet at the gala, as the Inquisitr reported.
Leonardo’s gala was successful for more than bringing in celebrities like Dobrev and Kate. In addition to providing Hudson and others the opportunity to show off their sleek physiques in sheer and strapless style, it raised more than $40 million to help save and preserve wildlife and the environment.
